The ancients said that Wu Zixu passed the test. How many tests did he pass? How did he pass each test? What was the result?

The most famous one is that Wu Zixu passed Zhaoguan. The details are as follows. After King Chuping, the grandson of King Zhuang of Chu, came to the throne, the state of Chu gradually declined. In 522 BC, King Ping of Chu wanted to abolish the original crown prince Jian. At this time, Prince Jian and his teacher Wu She were guarding Chengfu (in the west of Xiangcheng, Henan). King Ping of Chu was afraid that Wu She would disagree, so he called Wu She first and falsely accused Prince Jian of plotting rebellion. King Ping of Chu sent people to kill Prince Jian, and at the same time forced Wu She to write to his two sons Wu Shang and Wu Zixu, asking them to come back so that they could be eliminated together. The eldest son Wu Shang returned to Yingdu (now northwest of Jiangling, Hubei Province, Ying pronunciation is yǐng), and he and his father Wu She were killed by King Ping of Chu. Prince Jian got wind of it in advance and fled to the Song Dynasty with his son Gongzi Sheng. Wu She's other son, Wu Zixu, also escaped from Chu. He rushed to Song and found Prince Jian. Unfortunately, civil strife broke out in the Song Dynasty, and Wu Zixu fled to Zheng with Prince Jian and Gongzi Sheng, hoping to ask Zheng to help them take revenge. But Zheng Dinggong, the king of Zheng, did not agree. Prince Jian was so eager for revenge that he colluded with some ministers of Zheng to seize power from Zheng Dinggong, but was killed by Zheng Dinggong. Wu Zixu had no choice but to escape from the state of Zheng with his son Sheng and defect to the state of Wu (the capital is now Suzhou, Jiangsu). King Ping of Chu had already issued a reward for Wu Zixu's arrest, and had his portrait painted and hung at the city gates in various places in Chu State, and ordered officials from all over the country to investigate. After Wu Zixu escaped from the state of Zheng with his son Sheng, he hid during the day and traveled at night to Zhaoguan (in the north of today's Hanshan County, Anhui) at the junction of Wu and Chu. The officials who closed the door were very strict in their interrogations. Legend has it that Wu Zixu was so worried that he couldn't sleep for several nights and even his hair turned white from worry. Fortunately, they met a kind-hearted man, Duke Donggao, who sympathized with Wu Zixu and took him into his home. Duke Dong Gao had a friend who looked a bit like Wu Zixu. Duke Donggao asked him to pass the test by pretending to be Wu Zixu. The guard caught the fake Wu Zixu, but because his hair was all white and his face had changed, the guard couldn't recognize the real Wu Zixu, so he sneaked him out of the prison. When Wu Zixu left Zhaoguan, he was afraid that there would be pursuers behind him, so he hurried forward. Ahead is a big river blocking the way. Wu Zixu was in a hurry. An old fisherman came over in a small boat and took Wu Zixu across the river. After crossing the river, Wu Zixu was so grateful that he took off the sword beside him and gave it to the old fisherman. He said, "This sword was given to my grandfather by the King of Chu. It is worth one hundred taels of gold. I give it to you now to express my gratitude." "The old fisherman said: "The King of Chu offered a bounty of fifty thousand shi to hunt you down, and he also promised to grant you the title of doctor. If I don't covet this bounty and title, why would I want this sword from you?" Wu Zixu quickly apologized to the old fisherman, took away the sword, said goodbye to the old fisherman and left. When Wu Zixu arrived in the state of Wu, the young master Guangzheng of the state wanted to seize the throne. With the help of Wu Zixu, Prince Guang killed King Liao of Wu and proclaimed himself king. This is Helu (pronounced hé lǘ), King of Wu.
