What are some less famous but interesting places in Beijing?
I. Night view of the Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan and Olympic Park
1, Summer Palace
If my friend can only visit for one day, I will give him this letter of recommendation. In fact, it is not enough to play the Summer Palace or Yuanmingyuan for half a day, but time is limited, so we can only choose the most important scenic spots to visit.
Since it's only over three hours, let's go in through the newly-built palace gate of the Summer Palace, which is close to Tongniu and the 17-hole bridge. Many photographers have a picture with the horn of a bronze bull as a photo frame, in which the Buddha Pavilion of Wanshou Mountain is framed. But now that the bronze bull is covered by the railing, it is necessary to take such a photo with a telephoto lens.
After seeing the bronze bull and the 17-hole bridge, we will go to Leshou Hall, Long Corridor and Rice Shop. If we take a closer look at these places, the time is almost up. If you still have time, go to Foxiangge Scenic Area.
2. Yuanmingyuan
If you go to Yuanmingyuan in autumn, you must visit Ginkgo Avenue. If you go in summer, you can still see the scene of "lotus leaves are infinitely green". No matter when you go, you should go to Xiyanglou Ruins Scenic Area to see the broken wall, otherwise you will go to Yuanmingyuan for nothing. The venue of the Western Building is charged separately, but tickets for scenic spots in Beijing are relatively cheap.
3. Night view of the Olympic Park
There is a saying about broken bridges in Hangzhou: "A sunny bridge is not as good as a rainy bridge, and a rainy bridge is not as good as a snowy bridge", which means that broken bridges are the best in snowy days. For the Olympic Park, the night view is more worth seeing than the daytime view. Because the buildings including the Bird's Nest, if you look closely during the day, you will find that the building materials are still a little rough, but they will be gorgeous under the light, and the effect is equivalent to taking photos with girls and beautiful women.
Second, the Forbidden City, Beihai and Houhai
1, Forbidden City
Needless to say, the Forbidden City where emperors lived and worked in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, even if they can't catch up with the exhibition of precious cultural relics, they must visit the buildings. When watching TV series, I often say "launching the noon gate and beheading". You have to see what the noon gate looks like, right?
You should also visit the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Zhonghe and the Hall of Baohe, which are well done and meticulous. You should also take a photo of the bright plaque where the emperor's will is placed. The only small cultural relic that can be seen in the Forbidden City, besides the Treasure Hall, is the Clock Hall. The museum has a large collection of clocks and watches from Britain, France, Switzerland and other countries, which are extremely exquisite. There is a watch exhibition every hour in the museum. Don't miss it.
2. North Sea
Beihai Park is rated as 4A scenic spot because it is in Beijing, but this rating does not reflect its value. There are countless cultural relics in Beihai Park, and cultural relics like Gan Long's inscription tablet are nothing. Personally, the most recommended scenic spots are Jingxinzhai, Jiulongbi and Baita.
Jingxinzhai is located 300 meters west of the north gate of Beihai. It has been renovated before and has only been opened to the public in recent years. Zhai sometimes meditates.
