Japan travel guide shopping guide
Make-up and skin care department store articles Kyoto is not as much as Tokyo department store, but the basic brands are still covered, people are not as crowded as Tokyo business district, and the discount is similar, so you can buy any counter products in Kyoto.
Takashimaya (Takashimaya)
Venue: Intersection of Kawahara-CHO, Xitahe River
Features: Located at the intersection of Kawahara-machi, the busiest city in Kyoto, the geographical location is very convenient, and almost all Japanese brands can be bought here, such as Shiseido, IPSA, Dicos and SK2. That's the department store I go to most often. With a tourist passport, you can go to the front desk and get a 5% discount card for helloKitty, called Kitty.
Card, all counters can use it. The duty-free counter is on the first floor, next to LV. It's easy to find.
Otaru
Location: near Sitiaowu Bay Station, about 15 minutes walk from Takashimaya.
Features: The only counter of SUQQU in Kyoto is in Daimaru, so it is necessary to buy SUQQU Daimaru. In addition, because the geographical location of Daimaru is more remote than that of Takashimaya, sometimes you can buy some products that are out of stock (but to be honest, the probability is not great, because manufacturers will also consider the geographical location when distributing goods, and the distribution of Daimaru is definitely less than that of Takashimaya). In addition to SUQQU, there is also Paul &;; Brands such as JOE that Takashimaya doesn't have are not as crowded as Takashimaya, so you can go shopping.
Kyoto station underground shopping mall entrance
This is my favorite place to go, with everything. This place will appear in this shopping guide many times haha. Take makeup and skin care as an example. Berta will have some niche beauty and skin care brands, such as Orbis, Kiehl's, Fangke and so on.
Kyoto station underground shopping mall Thecube
This place is connected with Porta, and there are also some niche body care and skin care shops, which you can visit.
Cosmetic and skin care drugstores, as the name implies, are stores that sell medicines and cosmetics (nonsense), so if you want to buy some popular medicines and cheap brands such as canmake/kate/visee, you can go to drugstores to buy them. At the same time, most drugstores will also have counters of big brands, selling some mid-to high-end products of this brand, or products that are sold at counters but bought at discounts in drugstores. For example, Shiseido's brand lines in drugstores include Iris, HAKU, and Red Honey Dew (usually 30% off in drugstores). I'll mention the specific discount when I talk about it in the later branch.
Pharmacy brands mainly include スギ _ Bureau, ココカラファイン(kokokara Guo Da cosmeceuticals
It's quite good. I saw this drugstore on the first floor of a shopping mall in Xuhui, Shanghai, and friends in Shanghai can go and have a look.
Drugs) and so on. The following list is worth a visit and is not exhaustive. Each brand of drug store may have one or two stores in the business circle. I only recommend a few here.
Four perimeters:
スギ(SUGI)_ Jushi Chuanyuanding Branch
Location: Walk about 100 meters to the north at the intersection of Kawahara-machi, and walk for 5 minutes to Takashimaya.
This store is the four largest drugstores I know so far. It has two floors, moderate price, clean and tidy storefront and complete categories. The first floor is medicine and daily necessities, and the cosmetics and brand counters are mainly on the second floor. Replenishment of popular products is also timely. It is worth mentioning that Shiseido's Yue Wei series (not Yue Wei Petrie) and Red Honey Dew have the biggest discounts. Other brands such as Kose and Sophia will also have activities from time to time.
In addition, some products sold by this company can't be bought elsewhere, such as some minority masks, some household aromatherapy essential oils, aromatherapy candles, many nail products, beauty contact lens products and so on.
Tips: ① The cashier on the second floor can also be tax-free, and there are often long queues at the cashier on the first floor. Actually, you can check out on the second floor. If you buy a lot of things at the counter, you can ask for samples like the counter girl, and they are happy to give them.
サンドラッグ(sundrug) New Jinggu Shopping Area Branch
Location: Shop Street, Sixingong Shopping District, next to Dachuang.
There are two drugstores of this brand in the new Jingguo shopping area. I prefer the one next to Dachuang. First, clean and tidy. Second, there are big creations and honey juice nearby.
The advantage of this store is that it is cheap and the discount is not small. Visitors can get a full discount with coupons if they are tax-free. If you are not a tourist visa, you can apply for a membership card directly. On weekends, they can earn 10 times or 1 10 times points, which is equivalent to a 10% discount (I won't tell you that my points will cost me 2065438 if I only buy cosmetics). In addition, products such as Kerun Cream are also the cheapest stores I know, so I can explore them myself.
The disadvantage is that things are not so complete and will be out of stock, but popular products can basically be found.
OS cosmeceutical xinjingguo shopping qu branch
Location: Shops Street, New Jingguo Shopping District, near the 4th Road Exit.
It is a small storefront, and the products it sells are mainly products that are not very popular, or products that are not so popular on the domestic network. If you are looking for the products of online celebrities, it is hard to find them, but whatever you have, it is very cheap. This shop doesn't have a membership card, so it can only take cash. Because of the low price, I often go to this store to buy Minon's products, DHC's healthy food, and some things with good brands.
ココカラファイン(kokokarafine) Sitiao Wuwan Branch
Location: west of Kawahara-machi intersection, about 10 minute walk from Takashimaya.
The sense of existence is very low, but there is also SK2, which is 30% off.
Matsumoto Qingxin Jingji branch
Location: Shops Street, New Jingguo Business Circle, near the exit of Kawahara-CHO, near Lamian Noodles, Yilan.
This Matsumoto Ito is a comprehensive product, which is very popular with tourists, but according to my observation, things are more expensive. Although there are many coupons, discount coupons and coupons distributed on their official WeChat account, this is based on the slightly higher price itself, so the Japanese themselves don't like to go to this one. If there are many coupons, you can go shopping, and the hot things can basically be found here. For example, other stores are out of stock recently, only Matsumoto Yi Tengyou. It seems that Yi Tengyou Matsumoto has the priority to get the goods (I guess), because the 10 pieces of this 3D mask are only sold in Ito Matsumoto.
PS: SK2 seems to have a 30% discount, too.
As far as I know, only the above two stores have SK2 and 30% discount. )
Daguo drugstore Heyuan ding branch
Location: Kawahara-machi intersection, next to O 1O 1 Department Store.
A big country may be famous for its cheapness ... and China has the largest number of employees, so don't worry about language problems. In addition to beauty products, there are some small things that can be brought back to China as small gifts, which are more suitable for tourists to visit.
LOFT cosmeceutical qu
LOFT is a shopping center with several floors, which will be mentioned many times in this guide. The brands of cosmetics and skin care products sold here are well-known, and of course there are some niche brands. If you want to buy HABA or something, you can visit here if it is not easy to buy.
Around Kyoto Station:
Tangjikede
Venue: Avanti, Badaokou, Kyoto Station
This is a magical place, and it opens very late. It will be mentioned many times in this guide. Not only cosmetics and skin care products, but also home appliance gifts, which will be mentioned later. Don Quixote has many kinds of make-up, and there are also some brands that are not available elsewhere, but the goods are messy and need to be carefully searched. In addition, many popular products that can be converted into RMB only need a few dollars will be put in transparent plastic barrels (? ), like selling cabbage. But there are not many skin care products, so it is not recommended to buy them here.
Household appliances, beauty equipment, friends are happy.
Venue: Before Kyoto Station, get off at Kyoto Tower.
Mainly selling home appliances, which will be mentioned in the article about home appliances. The makeup and skin care area is a bit like Don Quixote's style, but it is cleaner and brighter than Don Quixote's. You can buy beauty equipment and home appliances while shopping.
Are you Ba Du Xi?
Venue: Before Kyoto Station, get off at Kyoto Tower.
The most famous department store in Kyoto sells household appliances, especially beauty instruments, such as gold bars, refa, steaming face instruments and large rows of lights. There are all kinds of electric beauty gadgets, such as perm eyelashes, ranging from dozens to hundreds. In addition, computers and mobile phones (there is an apple on the first floor)
Shops and cameras are also on sale.
Double camera
Location: Next to Kyoto Station
Compared with Youdu Baxi, this beauty equipment is not so complete (but there are also many), but relatively speaking, there are many kinds of small household appliances and the prices are very suitable. I moved to Japan twice, each time in BIC.
Cameras buy household appliances, so if you want to buy small household appliances, I recommend this.
Tangjikede
Venue: Avanti, Badaokou, Kyoto Station
It's cheap and miscellaneous, so I can find a lot of cheap things (I once found a perm eyelash of 30 RMB), and occasionally I will go here if I want to bring a razor to my friend.
A ps that only big friends can see: Don Quixote has an adult products area. Behind the checkout counter next to the elevator, there is a small area separated by curtains, which says no entry below 18.
Edon
Venue: Near Ishihara-CHO
This is the only shopping mall in Sijo that sells home appliances. It's not as complete as the above ones, but if you can't get to Kyoto station, you can visit this one. Its Chinese name is Aidian.
Stationery, as a person who loves to buy stationery, has never got rid of the problem of buying stationery since childhood, and it is even more out of control after arriving in Japan. Some Japanese cultural and creative products are really easy to use, and some creative stationery is particularly worth buying, so if you have the same problem as me, please read on:
loft
Venue: Mitsuo, Kawahara-machi
There is a special floor in the attic, which sells stationery, notebooks, pens, gadgets and the like, and the tape of the notebook is also complete. I dare not go shopping casually, because every time I go shopping, I spend money. In a word, we strongly recommend that you go for a walk in the attic. Uniqlo and Gu are also in the attic. Even if you don't buy stationery, you can visit the stationery area by the way, because I think the overall quality of stationery in Japan is still good.
Tokhan de
Location: Near Sitiaowu Bay Station
Like LOFT, this is a full-time department store chain, but the stationery in this store is a little less than LOFT, so it can be used as a supplementary choice to go shopping.
Muji
Venue: BAL5 Building, opposite to LOFT, Sanchahara Town.
There are only two Muji shops in Kyoto (if I remember correctly). A shop is under the Porta of Kyoto station, and there are few things. The other is this flagship store. There are many things, including clothing, home furniture, stationery, department stores, snacks and cosmetics. I prefer to buy all kinds of books of MUJI, especially ancient paper's draft and the annual handbook, which I like very much because they are concise and clean enough without fancy.
Go to any university supermarket.
I'm not kidding. I am serious. The stationery sold in university supermarkets is always the most practical and comprehensive (it should be universal), and the price is not expensive, so if you really want to buy stationery,
You can search the nearby universities on the map and go to the supermarkets in the universities. Maybe there will be a surprise. You can also experience the campus atmosphere in Japan by the way. Some universities also sell their own peripheral products (this is the same as in China), such as notebooks with school badges, postcards and clothes with school badges. For example, my school sells cakes with school badges, and the headmaster's curry (curry made by our school itself and endorsed by the headmaster). Emmmm, I personally think it's quite memorable.
Clothing articles You can see some fast-moving or luxurious clothing brands in Europe and America by searching on the map, so here I only recommend Japanese-style shops or clothing shopping areas in Kyoto where I often go.
(Actually, if you don't have much time left for Kyoto, you can go to Shinsaibashi in Osaka. )
Kyoto station underground entrance+cube
Venue: Ground Floor, Kyoto Station
The make-up article says that these two places are put together here because they are interlinked. This is a good place to visit. There are many clothing stores, all of which are very Japanese. There are brands that take the younger route, as well as brands with slightly higher prices and more elegant styles, which are suitable for women of 40+. Shops that take the younger route are usually moderately priced. The average price of a dress in winter is around 300-600 yuan RMB, and the basic model is around 200 yuan, which is actually similar to the pricing of some FMCG brands.
Recommended shops: SENSEOFPLACEbyURBANRESEARCH, MAJESTICLEGON.
Guam (guam)
Venue 1: Avanti, Kyoto Station, upstairs of Tangjikede.
Venue 2: Floor 5, LOFT5, Mishima, Kawahara-machi (Uniqlo is upstairs and downstairs, which is easy to visit).
Uniqlo's fast-moving clothing brand is cheaper than Uniqlo's, with fashionable style and fast update. Basically, you can see the Japanese trend elements of each season in everything you buy, as well as shoes, bags, accessories and other things to sell. Like Uniqlo, there are occasional cooperative funds, so it is very popular with young people. At present, it seems that this brand only has stores in Shanghai in China, but a treasure has a flagship store. However, I personally think that the domestic platform does not sell as much money as Japan, and the update is not so fast.
Xinjinggu shopping area pedestrian street
Location: Sitiao
In addition to some Japanese brand chain stores, there are also some independent designer shops, antique shops and so on. Because this is also a place where drugstores gather, you can look at clothes while visiting drugstores.
Frankly speaking, I personally don't know much about animation, but some friends are interested in it, so I know a few stores in general. If there are any omissions, please add them. However, if it is mentioned that Japan buys the surrounding area, it definitely belongs to Akihabara, Tokyo, so if there is a trip to Tokyo, this one can be completely skipped.
living
Location 1: Four shopping streets in the new Jingguo shopping area.
Venue 2: Avanti, Bajiaokou, Kyoto Station
This is a well-known chain store all over Japan. Its Chinese name is Amway Metersbonwe Bang Wei. There are official online stores in China, and some cities also have counters. Mainly selling comics, games and hand-made, as well as various other peripheral commodities and magazines. Compared with Sizhi New Jinggu Business Circle, it is bigger and more comprehensive.
Volkswagen head office
Venue: Qitiao, Xiye Temple
Volks is a big model chain in Japan, and this one in Kyoto is the headquarters. Some models will be displayed in the lobby, mainly railway models, and occasionally there will be other theme exhibitions. There are many kinds of models on sale, some of which have won prizes, and occasionally you can see out-of-print models, so the visit value is also very high.
Huanqiu model shop
Location: Four Chining temples are at 0/00 meter of NATO/KLOC.
I know this shop because I pass it every time I have a class. Although I haven't been inside, from the outside, this is a shop with everything. Because the signboard is a bit broken, it is a bit like an independent Japanese old shop. The glass cabinets on display are full of railway models, airplane models and hand-made models, so if you live near here (there are many homestays near Kionin Temple), you can go in and have a look.
Suggestions on Kyoto tourism
1. The bus has a one-day ticket, and you can buy a ticket to sit anywhere in the city for 500 yen (about 30 yuan RMB).
2. Kyoto people are not as flamboyant as Tokyo people, and their clothes are monotonous (at least I think so), so if you don't want to stand out from the crowd, you can wear simple and monochromatic clothes.
3. Because it is an ancient capital, many houses in small streets are traditional wooden structures, which are not sound-proof and earthquake-resistant, so if the homestay you live in is made of wood, please be prepared to be awakened by the traffic on the road.
4. If you can understand Kansai dialect, it will be smoother to travel in Kyoto, but on the other hand, even if you don't know Japanese, you won't have much problem playing in Kyoto (or even all of Japan), because large department stores and drugstores will have Chinese translators.
Kyoto cuisine is called "Beijing cuisine". You can search on the map and find a restaurant with a good evaluation (I have never eaten it).
6. As an ancient capital with a long history, the most beautiful place in Kyoto is not in the gradually converging business districts or popular scenic spots, so if you have enough time, it is strongly recommended that you get on the bus or take the tram at any station far from the city center and stroll through the alleys of Kyoto, and you will find that it has a different style (of course, you should pay attention to walking together and not getting lost).
7. Not only in Kyoto, but also in Japan, it is not easy to find hot water outside your home, because you are not used to drinking hot water. Although vending machines sell hot drinks in winter, they are all coffee drinks, and there is no hot mineral water or boiled water, so it is recommended that girls who are used to drinking hot water and mothers with babies bring enough hot water before going out (a sincere suggestion from a girl who can't drink hot water at school).
