Must-see attractions for Sri Lanka tourism

The tourist attractions in Sri Lanka include: Sigilia-Lion Rock, Foya Temple, Horton Plain National Park, Mirissa Beach and Yala National Park.

1, Sigilia-Lion Mountain:

Giria is listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO and is considered as the eighth wonder of the world. Sigiria Rock Fortress is located in the northern part of Matres district near Dambra in central Sri Lanka.

2. Foya Temple:

The Buddha's Tooth Temple was built in Kandy, near the ancient imperial palace, in the north and east of the temple, in a forest reserve called "Udawaththa Kelaya". This is a world-famous place of worship dedicated to the left tooth of Sakyamuni Buddha. This temple is respected by thousands of local and foreign believers and tourists every day, and was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988.

3. Horton Plain National Park:

Horton Plain National Park is one of the most amazing parks in Sri Lanka. It is also one of the few national parks in Sri Lanka that allow tourists to walk. Located in the central highlands, the park is the highest national park in Sri Lanka (2100-2300m above sea level). It belongs to Xin 'eli District of Central Province.

4. Marissa Beach:

Mirisha is a small fishing village in Matler district on the south coast of Sri Lanka. With this picturesque Marisa Bay Beach, lovely water stretches and golden beaches are hidden in dense coconut trees. Melissa Beach is famous for its vibrant nightlife, and it is a popular destination. Beach tramps can enjoy many activities, such as water sports, short trips and snorkeling, especially blue whales.

5. Yala National Park:

Yala National Park is located in the southeast of Sri Lanka, 300 kilometers away from Colombo. It is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka and the most visited national park in Sri Lanka. Yala National Park is the only primitive wild jungle park in Asia. Like Kenya National Park, you can experience jungle adventure. It is also the only two remaining wild jungle parks.
