People often say: Guilin’s landscape is the best in the world, and Yangshuo’s landscape is the best in Guilin. There is a beautiful mother river in Yangshuo - Lijiang River. It attracts many Chinese and foreign tourists. I look forward to visiting the Lijiang River in person.

My wish finally came true. One day in the summer vacation, it was drizzling. We came to the Lijiang Pier and took a boat to swim in the Lijiang River in the rain. The sky was gray and mist appeared on the river from time to time, but I was still very excited and had long been looking forward to the day of rafting on the Li River. Look, there is so much water in the Li River! The river bed is filled to the brim, like a mirror, like a piece of condensed fat, with small raindrops jumping playfully on the river surface. The water of Lijiang River is so quiet! It's so quiet that you can't feel it flowing. When the breeze blows, it ripples slightly, like a wrinkled skirt. The water of Lijiang River is so soft! It's so soft that you can't help but want to touch it.

The water of the Lijiang River is amazing, and the mountains of the Lijiang River are even more wonderful. The rocks on both sides of the Li River are very strange.

I greedily scanned the mountains on both sides of the bank with my eyes: Isn't that the Elephant Trunk Mountain that bends its waist, lowers its head, and stretches its neck into the river; the Wangfu Stone carrying the child on its back; the tall hump, walking forward "Camels crossing the river" while striding across the river. At this time, the tour guide pointed to the mountain wall in the distance and asked us to count a few "horses". They disappeared and appeared. It turned out that this was the famous "Nine Horse Painting Mountain". It is said that it was painted by a fairy in the sky with a magic pen. There are nine "horses" hidden in a cave on the mountain wall. The tour guide also told us: “In the early 1960s, Premier Zhou Enlai counted nine horses in one breath when he was traveling along the Li River.” There is an ancient saying: "You can tell if seven horses win second place, and if nine horses win first place, you can tell if nine horses win first place." Premier Zhou is so awesome! I also tried to count the horses in the painting, but I couldn't count any of them. The nine-horse painting of the mountain is so amazing, no wonder the poet praised it like this: Since ancient times, the mountain has been like a painting, but now the painting is like a mountain; there are nine horses in the picture, which are strange things in the world.

The water of the Lijiang River and the mountains of the Lijiang River constitute a beautiful picture. Sitting on a boat and touring the Li River is like "boating on the blue waves, and people are swimming in the middle of the painting."

Due to the frequent heavy rains in the recent section of Guilin, the Lijiang River, which was originally crystal clear, now feels like the Yellow River.

The mountains on both sides of the Lijiang River are very strange and have various shapes. Some are like a giant, mighty and majestic; some are like a palm, holding up the entire sky; some are like a bright moon, half hidden and half visible in the sky; some are like a giant stick, thrust straight between heaven and earth. The most famous scenery is the scenery on the reverse side of the twenty yuan coin. The tour guide took out a twenty yuan coin and compared it. It was exactly the same.

We came to the top of the boat to watch. Under the drizzle, the Lijiang River looked even more hazy. The beautiful Lijiang River seemed to be covered with a transparent veil. The raindrops circled spots on the surface of the river. Like a beautiful picture.

We rode on the Li River for a parade, and the Li River is really famous all over the world. I was fascinated by the Lijiang River. The water of the Lijiang River is so green, as green as a piece of flawless emerald. Under the sunlight, the blue waves are rippling and sparkling with microwaves; it is so clear that you can see the sand and stones at the bottom of the lake. A gentle breeze blew by, and under the sunlight, the mirror-level river surface seemed to be strewn with pearls; it was so quiet that you couldn't feel it flowing. But seeing is believing, it is so beautiful, so touching, so vivid and lifelike. Ah, it is so intoxicating, and the Lijiang River is so charming! I was rippling on the Li River and watching everything in front of me. It was all so unimaginable that I didn’t even know if I was in a dream!
