Introduction of Canadian Rocky Mountain Tourist Attractions

Speaking of Canada, you may have the impression that maple trees can be seen everywhere and red leaves are everywhere, just like a red carpet, but in fact, Canada is rich in tourism resources. Besides maple leaves, there are many beautiful scenic spots.

Among them, the Rocky Mountains here are the most awe-inspiring, towering, holy and beautiful. The Rocky Mountains, with a vast territory, are a major attraction, including the landscape of Banff and Jasper National Park.

The tourist landscape is rich and distinctive, so next, Bian Xiao will accept the tourist attractions in the Canadian Rockies according to the landscape of Banff and Jasper National Parks. Everybody, be careful!

Robertson mt

Robertson Mountain Provincial Park does not belong to Banff Jasper, but is a provincial park in BC. Why did you add it? Because it's too close to Jasper. It is nearly 4000 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

You can go deep into mountains and even climb mountains, but it is a bit difficult for ordinary tourists. The vast majority of tourists take some photos on the observation deck, and the experience is not deep enough, but it is quite gorgeous!

If you leave from Banff, take No.93 expressway and transfer to No.0/6 expressway. It takes about 4 hours to arrive. Here is usually a tour on the way from Vancouver to Jasper, or a tour on the way back from Jasper to Vancouver.

Athabasca Falls

Glaciers in athabasca converge into rivers, and then finally form athabasca Falls. Looking at the Rocky Mountains, it's quite a big waterfall (though not as big as Niagara Falls).

Behind is the mountain, and in front is the raging waves. I took a good photo on the observation deck. If you want to experience something deeper, you can take a walk ~ athabasca Waterfall is one of the few "big attractions" in the northern half of Icefield Avenue.

Starting from Banff, it's hard to get there by driving along the Icefield Avenue for about 3 hours and turning left when you see the sign of AthabascaFalls.

Pyramid lake

Banff Park has many famous lakes, including Jasper Lake. Pyramid lake is one of the representative works ~ the lake is very open and suitable for boating, with the majestic Pyramid Mountain as the background.

Why is it only 13? Because the Pyramid Lake itself is not blue enough—

It is more like an ordinary lake than a "milky blue" snowy mountain lake like Louis and Menglian Lake. Therefore, the grand index is not in front of Banff and Jasper ~

It takes nearly 4 hours to get from Banff, but it only takes more than 10 minutes to get from Jasper. The last section of the road is a dirt road. Drive carefully, but there are many wild animals in the last paragraph, and you can often see bears and deer.

Zhushahu

Zhusha Lake is the nearest Rocky Mountain Lake to Banff Town. You can watch it from the observation deck on expressway or VermilionScenicDrive, which is closer to the lake.

The lake view and the mountain view complement each other. It's not amazing, but at least it's worth staying-after all, it's only a few minutes' drive from town. Cinnabar Lake is a good choice for shooting sunsets, and the night scene is also easy to make into large films.

Whether there is traffic jam or not, it will definitely arrive in ten minutes ~

Johnston canyon

Many scenic spots in Banff can be deeply hiked, but the development efforts are average, and ordinary tourists are often afraid to go. But Johnston canyon will be much safer ~ the wooden plank road between the rock walls, looking up at the beautiful scenery and waterfalls of the canyon.

If you don't want to go too far, you can look down after ten minutes.

Falls walks down the waterfall, and it may take more than an hour to reach the top if he is physically strong. It's not a typical Rocky Mountain, but it will give you a deep understanding. If winter comes, the wonders of the ice falls are even more breathtaking.

Banff takes less than 30 minutes by car, and the parking lot is large, which is also an easy-to-reach scenic spot. By the way, near the canyon, Castle.

You can also drop by and take some photos.

Witch doctor lake

One of Jasper's most famous lakes and one of the largest snow-covered lakes. Although you can only stop by the roadside to watch, the magnificent lakes and surrounding mountains will make you hooked up.

Compared with the lake in Banff, the witch doctor lake is relatively low-key, and even most tourists don't know it. However, after you have been here, you will feel "reunion after a long separation".

It takes four hours to get there from Banff, but it takes less than 25 minutes to get there from Jasper in the east. It must be worthwhile to spend an hour taking pictures and enjoying the scenery.

Gonghu+Lake Hector Gonghu &; Hecktor lake

Icefield Avenue is near Banff, and Lake Gong Hu and Lake Hector are two pearls. There is a viewing platform near expressway, and the lake view is not inferior to any famous lake. It's hard to get there, just don't miss the road sign.

In the flower season, the foreground is flowers with the scenery of Gong Hu Lake as the background, which is convenient for shooting large films, and so is Lake Hector. Since it is on the roadside and so beautiful, these two lakes must be seen.

From Banff, you can see the sights of Lake Hector in about 50 minutes by car, and you can see the sights of Lake Gong Hu in about 1 hour by car.

Minnewanka Lake+Double Jack Lake

Lake Kaka in Minneapolis is the location of revenant, and Xiaolizi realized her Oscar dream because of this movie. If you are a movie fan, Lake Minneapolis is definitely worth a visit. There are motorboats here, which can take you deep into the middle of the lake and experience the depth ~

Double Jack Lake is next to Minnewanka, which is relatively low-key, but the scenery is not low-key. These two lakes are close to Banff town, so it is recommended to spend an hour watching them.

Banff leaves and will arrive in less than 15 minutes. Is there any reason not to go?

Petolek

Peittola Lake, also known as "Goutou Lake", has a front end shaped like the head of Rainbow Xingren. It's easy to be missed here, but it's a strange signpost. On the icefield avenue, there is no Peto.

The lake is a signpost, not BowSummit!

After arriving at the parking lot, it takes about 15 minutes to climb the mountain and see the lake. Ordinary tourists are too lazy to leave? After seeing the magnificent lake, the fatigue immediately disappeared ~

From Banff, drive along Icefield Avenue for about 1 hour, turn left at BowSummit sign, and then walk.

Emerald lake

Jade Lake is located in BC province, not in Banff or Jasper, but it is also "confused" because of its special proximity. Emerald Lake is a masterpiece of Lake BC. As the name implies, the green lake and the surrounding green hills make it as charming as jade.

You can walk, row and experience the Jade Lake, and the depth is still enough. This is the only way to Banff. Don't miss it when passing by.

It takes about 1 hour to get there from banff, which is easy to find ~

Lake Louis, Lake Louis

Lake Louis is the first lake promoted by many travel agencies in Banff. Needless to say, the magnificent degree, big snow mountain+beautiful lake, the picture, no matter how you shoot it, looks good.

Why only ranked fifth? The primary reason is that the development is too strong and it has become a typical "famous scenic spot"-

Surrounded by businesses and hotels, there are many tourist buses and tourists are in an endless stream. There are too many artificial elements, which makes it lose the mystery of the famous lake in Banff.

Secondly, it's hard to get here. The parking lot is large but often full, and sometimes it can't stop after several turns. When a scenic spot is too well-known and developed, even if it is beautiful, it may not rank first, let alone Canada, which advocates "original ecology and nature".

However, as far as its own magnificence is concerned, there is no doubt that Lake Louis ranks in the top two in Canada's Rocky Mountain National Park.

Banff leaves. It takes 40 minutes by car. But the parking lot is easy to fill, and the sooner you go, the better.

Sulphur mountain, sulphur mountain.

Sulphur mountain, like Lake Louise, is a must-see attraction in the Rocky Mountains. Why is the ranking so high? Because ordinary tourists can easily climb to the top of the mountain. The cable car in sulphur mountain provides great convenience-

You can reach the top of more than 2000 meters in ten minutes!

Needless to say, the scenery at the top of the mountain is undulating and dotted with lakes. The word "relaxed and happy" is not enough to describe the feeling at that time ~ tired of seeing the lake? Then I went to sulphur mountain to "climb to the top of the mountain for a glimpse".

Under the sulphur mountain, there is also the famous Banff Hot Spring. However, if the peak season comes, it will be the scene of jiaozi.

Banff's departure takes only 10 minutes, which is very convenient.

Athabasca Glacier

The famous Columbian ice sheet, or more precisely, the athabasca ice sheet. One of the top scenic spots in the Rocky Mountains. Feel the freezing in midsummer, with hundreds of millions of years of glaciers at your feet. It sounds fantastic, and it can come true here.

Whether you are hiking on a glacier or riding a giant snowmobile, you will never forget the shocking wonders of the athabasca ice sheet. If you haven't played enough, there is a transparent glass bridge to test your courage ~

From Banff, along the Icefield Avenue, it takes more than 2 hours to reach the Icefield Visitor Center.

Marinlake, Marinlake

MaligneLake, the masterpiece of Jasper National Park, is ignored by 99% tour groups for only one reason-its remote location and low cost performance.

Really? This is one of the most famous scenic spots in the Rocky Mountain. Don't miss it! Ghost Island in the depths of Marin Lake

Island is the biggest highlight of the whole lake, and was once rated as "one of the top ten wonders of the world" by National Geographic magazine.

None of the other scenic spots in Banff Jasper have enjoyed this kind of treatment. A few pictures can tell you why Elf Island is beautiful and mysterious:

Cruise in Marin Lake and enjoy every moment. Although you can only stay in Fairy Island for 15 minutes, it is enough for you to make a big movie and go back to China with full load ~

It takes nearly 5 hours from Banff to Marin Lake, but it takes about 1 hour from Jasper.

Menglianhu

Menglian Lake under Shifeng Valley is very close, but it is very tiring to go there. It is only open for more than four months in a year, and three of them are "extremely difficult to park"-

In the peak season, the parking spaces are full at 8: 00 in the morning and are not fully open until 8: 00 in the evening. Visiting Menglian Lake is often rejected.

When I took the trouble to come here and climb the 100-meter-high stone tablet, the shocking beauty in front of me could not be described in words. It is not only the most beautiful scenery in the Rocky Mountain, but also one of Canada's national postcards and even the background picture of Canadian banknotes.

In a word, Menglian Lake is a well-deserved king among the famous lakes in the Rocky Mountain. No matter how difficult it is, you must find a way to come here. Isn't it just to enjoy it from a distance? Then rent a canoe and feel the highest state of rowing here.

The beauty here is magnificent, with graceful flowing water and simple Meijiang. This kind of Canada not only makes people fall in love, but a trip is like a love affair. I crossed Qian Shan and walked through a long and lonely time just to wait for you.
