German Customs Entry Requirements
Immigration precautions:
1. Visa validity period. Under normal circumstances, it should be noted that the validity period of a German short-term visa is consistent with the period of stay, that is, the expiration date of the visa is the last date of departure, and the period of stay is not calculated from the date of entry. In short, those who come to Germany with a short-term visa must enter and exit the country within the validity period of their visa. Otherwise, it will be an overstay.
2. Visa type. The visa type must be consistent with the actual purpose of entry. German border guards conduct stricter inspections during entry inspections. Many Chinese business groups have been repeatedly blocked because the type of visa does not match the actual purpose of entry. For example, an inspection group from a certain city came to Germany with a business inspection visa. Because the actual itinerary had no business activities and was purely for tourism, their visa was revoked by the German border guard, and they were refused entry and fined. Here, the German Embassy reminds the delegation visiting Germany to strictly abide by the relevant German regulations that "the type of visa must be consistent with the purpose of entry" to avoid negative impacts internally and externally.
Customs regulations:
Passengers from EU countries can bring personal items into Germany duty-free; passengers from non-EU countries, the value of duty-free items brought into Germany must not exceed 58.8 EUR.
The quantity of entry duty-free goods shall not exceed the following regulations:

In particular, please note that each person's tobacco and alcohol must be carried separately, otherwise they will be regarded as items carried by one of them.
