Shi Baozhai's introduction

Shi Baozhai is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national key cultural relic protection unit, one of the top 30 new tourist attractions of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, one of the seven wonders of the American Discovery Channel China, and one of the eight strange buildings in the world.

Shi Baozhai is located in Zhongxian, Chongqing on the north bank of the Yangtze River, and is known as the "Pearl in the River", 45 kilometers away from Zhongxian. Here, there is a boulder on the river, more than ten feet high, which was pulled up by a steep wall and a lonely peak. According to legend, it is a colored stone statue left by the goddess, so it is called "Shi Bao". This stone is shaped like a jade seal, also known as "Jade Seal Mountain".

History: Tan Hong, a peasant leader, revolted in the late Ming Dynasty, hence the name Shi Baozhai. The Tian Zi Temple on the top of Shi Baozhai was built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1572- 16 19), which was founded by the lingering sound of Zhongzhou period, with a history of more than 400 years. In the middle and early period of the Qianlong reign of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, it was repaired many times, and the last time was rebuilt in the eighth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty (1858). Zhai Lou was built later than Tianzitang and was built in the early years of Qianlong. In the 24th year of Jiaqing (1795), Gong Sheng Deng Hongyuan was rebuilt.

The village building is built on the mountain, and the eaves spread their wings, which is extremely spectacular. Attic *** 12 floor, 56 meters high. At the top of the village, there is an ancient temple, Tian Zi Temple, which is surrounded by rocks and walls. The temple is magnificent, and there are cultural relics exhibition rooms, Duck Cave and Liu Mi Cave.
