The team includes hundreds of students from famous universities such as Tsinghua and Peking University, outstanding students from other universities, friends of Singaporean Mai Qunyuan and friends from other provinces such as Hunan and Heilongjiang, totaling more than 855 people. These young students are worried about the education situation in remote mountainous areas of Hainan Province, the living conditions of vulnerable groups in rural areas, and the breeding and spread of some uncivilized phenomena. So they decided to join the team under the teacher's organization, even if they paid their own money, they would go to the mountains every winter and summer vacation, so that the teachers could embrace those innocent and immature faces eager for knowledge.

By May 2009, it had grown to seven counties and cities and established seven detachments, namely Haikou Detachment, Wenchang Detachment, Qionghai Detachment, Wanning Detachment, Lingao Detachment, Ledong Detachment and Sanya Detachment.

Members are mainly college students, mainly Hainan local students who have been admitted to mainland universities with deep love. Distributed in universities all over China, such as Tsinghua, Peking University, China Renmin University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Fudan University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Xi Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, Xiamen University, Northeast Normal University, Hainan University, etc.
