Is it better to have a medical examination first or according to the notice for a Canadian visa?

First, the medical examination of Canadian study visa

To apply for a visa to study in Canada, physical examination is a must.

There are two kinds of physical examinations for student visas:

1, preliminary physical examination

It is the physical examination before submitting the visa materials, and the receipt of the physical examination is submitted together with other materials. The advantage of pre-medical examination is that the materials pass the customs clearance and the visa is issued directly. Of course, there are disadvantages. If the visa is refused, the money may be wasted.

2. After physical examination

Other materials should be submitted first. After the materials are approved, the Immigration Bureau will send a medical examination notice and go to the hospital for a medical examination. Generally, if you sign this step, it is no problem to sign. The disadvantage is that it takes about two or three weeks, or even longer, from making an appointment for a medical examination to uploading for review.

Second, the Canadian tourist sign medical examination

There are also two kinds of medical examinations for tourist visas:

1, tourism for the purpose of tourism.

No need!

2. Tourist signs accompanying students

That's what we call an accompanying visa: you must have a physical examination, which is a necessary material for entering the customs in exchange for an accompanying visa. We entered the country with a small sign, which is the sticker on our passport. When you pass the customs, if you pass the physical examination, the customs will give you a big sign (they are called visit records, or VR for short). With this big visa, you can legally stay with your children in China, and you don't need to leave the country once every six months. The first time is usually one year, which is consistent with your child's student visa (the first year of your child's student visa is also one year).

Of course, if you don't have a medical examination when you enter the country, don't worry. After entering the customs, you can have a physical examination in China, and then you can apply for VR, but I don't know how much this fee is.

Third, the physical examination process

1, make an appointment

The addresses and telephone numbers of hospitals in major cities in China designated by the Canadian Immigration Bureau are as follows. Find the nearest hospital and call to make an appointment. There will be a short message after the appointment, and you can take the materials to the hospital according to the notice. Not all cities have designated hospitals, and some cities have to have physical examinations across provinces and cities.

2, the required documents and materials

Original and photocopy of passport (with ID card, saying it is unnecessary), and mobile phone equipped with Alipay.

3. Fees (Nanjing only supports Alipay payment)

0-4 years old: 500 yuan

5- 10 years old: 850 yuan

1 1- 14 years old: 1250 yuan

/kloc-over 0/4 years old: 1708 yuan

4, physical examination items and processes

After arriving at the hospital, take photos, fill in forms and questionnaires, and then change clothes after paying the fee. Take off your upper body, put on your hospital gown, and go to the queue for physical examination.

Physical examination items for adult accompanying students are as follows:

Routine: height, weight, blood pressure, vision (you can wear glasses)

Blood (two tubes): HIV, syphilis, liver function test.

Urine test: check renal function.

Internal medicine: Ask me about my physical examination, whether I have had a knife, whether I have holes in my body (I have three ear holes), whether I have tattoos, whether I have had tuberculosis, whether I have had any serious illness, whether I often take medicine and so on. , and then listen to cardiopulmonary function, end.

X-ray: an important inspection item, which the Immigration Bureau attaches great importance to. Before the physical examination, the nurse asked us to cooperate well and said that we would have to do it again if we didn't cooperate well, which made people very nervous. Actually, it's very simple. It's over in a few seconds.

The child's physical examination is relatively simple, that is, the urine test of height, weight and vision. Nothing else.

1708+850 is gone.

5, physical examination receipt

After taking the X-ray, go and change, and then go to the front desk to wait for your medical receipt and invoice. The physical examination results will be uploaded to the website of the Immigration Bureau in about three days. If there is a problem with hematuria, the physical examination center will call to re-collect and review. If there is no news, then there is no problem. This physical examination receipt must be carried when entering the country, in exchange for VR who has legally resided for one year. Physical examination is valid for one year.

6. Write at the end (from the network)

People with these diseases may be refused visas:

Posing a threat to public health or safety; It may excessively increase the Canadian government's investment in health or welfare.

These diseases include (but are not limited to) AIDS, severe kidney disease, severe heart disease, high-risk infectious diseases and so on. The Canadian government did not clearly list these diseases, and the decision was made by immigration officials. Carrying hepatitis B does not affect the application.
