Qingyun Mountain in Yugou Town is located 70KM southeast of Xuzhou, 20KM south of Guanyin Airport, 42KM north of Lingbi County and 3KM east of Yugou Town Here, the mountain has long been famous for its many chime stones and is famous at home and abroad.

1. The Qingyun Mountain contains the Lingbi Qing stone. Its golden sound vibrates and the lingering sound is long. It is unique and the resources are relatively scarce. Lingbi chime stone has a long history and is recorded in many ancient books and history. Qingyun Mountain was also called Qingshi Mountain in ancient times. "Sibin Floating Chime" is called "Sibin Floating Chime" in "Shang Shu Yu Gong". Its mountain name is Chimestone Mountain. It is adjacent to Sishui in the north. There are many swamps around the mountain and it was surrounded by ancient floods. Chimestone Mountain is like floating water. Lingbi chime stone has delicate texture, tough stone quality, dark and graceful color, and the sound of jade and gold. It is the best stone for making chimes with both the beauty of sound and color. "Lingbi is a rare stone in the world, and its sound is like bronze-colored jasper." This is a high-level summary of the beauty of the sound and color of Lingbi and chime stones. The tiger pattern chime unearthed from Fuhao's tomb in Anyang, Henan is made of chime stone. The stone is fine and gray-black, with white veins like jade in between, which are the unique signs of Lingbi chime stone. Lingbi stone chimes have been regarded as treasures or sacred objects throughout the ages and have been respected. The rarity of Lingbi chime stone determines its high collection value. In one piece, it has extremely rich aesthetic connotation and extremely high ornamental and collection value. It was named "the best stone in the world" by Emperor Qianlong. Lingbi stone has a large inventory and many varieties, divided into 50 categories and more than 500 varieties. After scientific testing, Lingbi Stone has no harmful radiation, is environmentally friendly, and contains more than 10 medium and trace elements, which is beneficial to human health. Lingbi stone has naturalness, peculiarity, artistry, rarity, scientificity, collectability and commerciality that cannot be replaced by other materials. It has ornamental, scientific research, preservation and economic value, and has become the pursuit of people's elegant spiritual life.

3. Regarding the origin of Lingbi Stone, there have been different opinions throughout the ages, and further research and verification are needed. The currently accepted view in the stone appreciation community is that Lingbi Stone was produced in the Sinian Period about 800 million years ago. At that time, this place was a vast ocean. After the algae in the sea died, they were deposited together with the carbonates in the seawater to form ore bodies mixed with algae. Under the influence of the internal temperature and pressure of the earth, patterns and patterns of various colors were formed. After multiple crustal movements (Lüliang tectonic and Yanshan tectonic movements), the rock strata were folded and fractured, and coupled with hundreds of millions of years of rain erosion, Lingbi Stone was created naturally. This view is only a family opinion and there is no authoritative conclusion. The origin of Lingbi Stone remains to be further verified. If it can be built into a geopark, it will definitely be beneficial to resource protection and academic research.

4. There are many cultural relics in Qingyun Mountain and its vicinity, highlighting its long history and high tourism and cultural development value. At the northwest foot of the mountain are the ruins of a quarry pit from the Song Dynasty, and on the south cliff are cliff carvings from the Song Dynasty. Statues are carved on the mountain, carved on a 16-meter-long, 2-meter-high original stone. There are more than a hundred statues of Guanyin and his disciples. The shapes are clearly visible, and They have different shapes and are lifelike. They have a history of 900 years. In 2004, it was approved by the Lingbi County People's Government as a county-level cultural relics protection unit. Yugou Town is the hometown of Qing Stone and an outstanding provincial tourist town. Qingyun Mountain geological heritage resources are representative to a certain extent. The completion of the geological park can drive the tourism industry of Yugou Town and promote the sustainable development of Yugou economy.

5. Qingyun Mountain is well preserved and its geological relics have unique scientific value, popular education value and aesthetic appreciation value. In recent years, Yugou Town has been closing the mountain to Qingyun Mountain to protect the Qingyun stone resources, and has implemented mountain greening projects, and has done a lot of preliminary preparations for the declaration of a geopark.

According to the spirit of the document "Notice on Strengthening the Application and Approval Work of National Geoparks" (Land and Resources Department [2009] No. 50) of the General Office of the Ministry of Land and Resources, "Those who plan to apply for a national geopark shall be determined by the location of the park. The county (city, district) people's government shall submit an application." To this end, the county government is requested to organize a working team to be responsible for organizing, leading, and coordinating the work of declaring Qingyun Mountain as a national geological park.
