Are there any places to visit in Zhengzhou?
The places to visit in Zhengzhou are: Songshan Shaolin Temple, Song Ling, Huangdi's hometown, Changshou Mountain in bamboo forest, and Kang Million Manor.
1. Shaolin Temple in Songshan
Shaolin Temple is located at the foot of Wuru Peak at the northern foot of Shaoshi Mountain, 13km northwest of Dengfeng County. If you take a bus from Zhengzhou, Kaifeng and Luoyang, you can go straight to the front of the temple. Shaolin Temple was founded in the 2th year of Taihe in the Northern Wei Dynasty (496), so it was built in the dense jungle at the foot of Shaoshi Mountain, hence the name "Shaolin".
2. Song Ling
Song Ling is located in gongyi city, between Zhengzhou and Luoyang. The Longhai Railway runs through the territory, and the Kailuo Expressway runs through the east and west. There are Songshan Mountain in the south and the Yellow River in the north. It is surrounded by mountains and waters with beautiful scenery. It is known as a treasure trove of geomantic omen born in Suzhou and Hangzhou and buried in Beimang. It is the largest mausoleum group in central China, covering an area of about 156 square kilometers.
3. The hometown of the Yellow Emperor
Xinzheng, Henan Province was a country with bears in ancient times. The Yellow Emperor in Xuanyuan fell on the hill of Xuanyuan, and there must be bears in its capital. The Yellow Emperor unified the world, laid the foundation for China, created civilization, cherished things and loved the people, and was honored as the ancestor of Chinese humanities by later generations. Zhuangzi said, "The highest place in the world is the Yellow Emperor." 4. Changshou Mountain of Bamboo Forest
is located in the east of gongyi city, between Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, and Luoyang, the ancient capital. 5. Kang Million Manor
A national 4A-level tourist scenic spot, a national key cultural relic protection unit. In the 196s and 197s, together with Liu Wencai Manor in Sichuan and Mouerhei Manor in Shandong, it was called the three largest manors in China, ranking first among the three manors, and was praised as the spiritual home of Henan merchants and a model of ancient architecture in the Central Plains.
