Thailand visa materials and types

Type 1: Thailand tourist visa?

(1) Scope of issuance?

This type of visa is issued For tourists who wish to travel into Thailand. ?

(2) Materials required

1. Passport or other travel documents valid for at least six months; ?

2. Applicant One recent photo (4 × 6 cm);

3. Fully paid air ticket;

4. Completed visa application form;

5 , Sufficient financial guarantee (20,000 baht per person or 40,000 baht per family);

6. Consular officials reserve the right to request other supporting materials.

(3) This type of visa is valid for three months, and the stay period after entering Thailand shall not exceed 60 days.

Category 2: Thailand transit visa

(1) Scope of issuance?

1. Persons who need to transit through Thailand to reach the destination country or return to the base country due to travel ( Visa category TS);?

2. Athletes participating in sports competitions (visa category S);?

3. Crew entering Thai ports, stations and other areas of transportation ( Visa category C). ?

(2) Materials required?

1. Passport or other travel documents valid for at least six months; ?

2. Fill in Complete visa application form;?

3. A recent photo of the applicant (4×6 cm); ?

4. Sufficient financial guarantee (20,000 baht per person or 40,000 baht per family);

5. Travel transportation method (confirmed fully paid air ticket);

6. Invitation letter stating that athletes will participate in sports competitions in Thailand ;

7. The passport or travel document must have a visa from a third country;

8. Consular officials reserve the right to request other supporting materials. ?

(3) This type of visa is valid for three months, and the stay period after entering Thailand shall not exceed thirty days.

Category 3: Thailand Business Visa

Required materials

1. Passport 2. Six 2-inch color photos with white background within six months 3. ID card Copy (can stay for 90 days)
