When he reached "Wuzhangyuan (now Qishan County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province)", he unfortunately died of illness. 29 years after Zhuge Liang's death, Liu Chan, the empress of Shu, issued an edict to build a temple for Zhuge Liang. Because Zhuge Liang was named "Marquis of Wuxiang" during his lifetime, the temple dedicated to Zhuge Liang was also called "Wuhou Temple".

Historical records show that the Wuhou Temple in Chengdu was built during the Northern and Southern Dynasties. It was originally a single temple dedicated to Zhuge Liang. Later, because there was the mausoleum of Liu Bei, Lord of Shu, next to Wuhou Temple, which was often called "Huiling", later generations merged Huiling and Wuhou Temple together, so that in later generations, the outside world only knew about it. The Wuhou Temple, the Huiling Mausoleum where Liu Bei was buried, and the Han Zhaolie Temple built to commemorate Liu Bei became the foils. ?Since the construction of Wuhou Temple, almost every dynasty has experienced burning or destruction. Some people burned incense accidentally burned the temple, some were destroyed by war, and some were affected by natural disasters. The general layout of the Wuhou Temple that people see now is that of the reconstruction during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It contains four parts: Huiling, Han Zhaolie Temple, Sanyi Temple and Wuhou Temple. It takes about half a day to visit them all.

The origin of the name Jinli is said to be that the residents of this area were all brocade craftsmen in the past. Jinli was also one of the oldest and most commercial streets in the history of Western Shu. As early as It was very famous during the Qin, Han and Three Kingdoms periods. It's just that the Jinli Ancient Street that people visit now was newly renovated in 2004, and its style is mainly based on Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture.
