How to deal with the ancient city wall becoming a "climbing wall" cultural relics depository?

Recently, many netizens reported that the ancient city wall in Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province has become a "climbing wall" for people to climb, play and take photos. There are many adults among the climbers. Without protective measures, I climbed a few meters high and my parents took pictures below.

Netizens said that without protective measures, climbing the city wall not only has security risks, but also may cause damage to cultural relics. In response, the local cultural relics protection office responded that climbers have been discouraged and better protection measures will be taken.

In the photos provided by netizens, a small step with a width of two or three centimeters is formed between the wall bricks on the outer wall of Zhengding ancient city wall. A dozen children climbed to two or three meters high with their bare hands. Parents stood under the city wall to take pictures of their children, but the warning sign "No Climbing" was ignored. Even adult climbers climbed to a height of six or seven meters with their bare hands without protective measures. Many tourists climb the city wall, which seems to be attacking the city from a distance, and even make some tourists mistakenly think that this is an amusement project of tourist attractions.

Zhengding County Tourism Bureau received a response that tourists are not allowed to climb the ancient city wall, warning signs have been set under the city wall, and the behavior of climbing the city wall has also been controlled. Zhengding County Cultural Relics Protection Institute also said that in July this year, after the completion of the first-phase restoration project of Chengnan City Wall, the phenomenon of climbing the city wall was more serious. The cultural relics protection institute immediately took measures to set up more than a dozen "no climbing" warning signs under the city wall. At the same time, from 8: 00 am to 9: 00 pm, more than a dozen security guards are arranged at the scene every day. Once someone is found climbing, they will be discouraged immediately.
