Longtan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in the north of Xin 'an County, Luoyang City, 60 kilometers away from Luoyang and 0/80 kilometers away from Zhengzhou/KLOC. Qiantang Zhizhai, located in tiemen town, Xin 'an County, is a part of the garden "Zhelu" run by the late Kuomintang uprising general Zhang Fang. It is a comprehensive geological park with canyon landform and water landscape as its main features, and is characterized by the mutual reflection of ecology and humanity. It is divided into five scenic spots: Daimei Mountain (Daimei Canyon), Qingyao Mountain, Longtan Gorge, Wanshan Lake and Jingzi Mountain. Legend has it that Princess Damei of Shang Tang, who left the palace, persuaded Tang Wang to take the world as his duty, govern the country, unify the world and save the people in from the mire. Xiu De fought hard and finally defeated Xia Jie. In order to commemorate the kindness of Damei, Tang Wang built Notre Dame and several palaces for her, and named Daimei Mountain, a spiritual mountain, after her.
