Xi 'an passes through the Qinling Mountains, and the top of the mountain meets the "Little Huashan Mountain". The practitioners in the humble little temple soaked medicinal liquor in turtle shells.

The ancients said, "There are many famous monks in the world". Places valued by monks always have their unique advantages. In the depths of Zhong Nanshan Mountain in Qinling Mountains around Xi 'an, it seems that every hill can meet several small temples, but it has also become a unique cultural landscape.

Xiaowutai Mountain in Woods Valley is one of the most famous mountains in South China. Just listening to the name has a strong Buddhist culture. Sure enough, when we crossed Dongtaigou Village-Xiaowutai Mountain-Wudaoliang-Ziwuyu, we stayed on Xiaowutai Mountain most of the time because there were too many Buddhist temples all over the mountain. It takes a lot of time just to look at it, and there is not much stay, but it is always interesting.

At the top of Xiaowutai Mountain at an altitude of 1000 meters, we came to the "Xiaohuashan Mountain" in the mouth of Lvyou.

It is said to be "Little Huashan", but it is actually just a convex peak at the top of Xiaowutai Mountain. Because the terrain rises abruptly and is particularly steep, another stone gate stands out. At first glance, it looks quite elegant at the top of Huashan Mountain, so the donkey friends call it "Little Huashan Mountain".

Behind "Xiaohuashan" is Nanfeng Temple, and Shimen is actually the gate of this temple. Passing through the mountain gate, facing a locked house on the high platform, entering from a side door, I saw a stone step winding up, close to the cliff, which was quite quiet and charming.

We climbed the stairs and looked around, only to see the ancient meridian winding between the peaks, and the golden glazed tile roof of Jinxianguan was quite conspicuous. This situation makes us feel broad-minded and heroic. Monks always have unique advantages in places they like.

The ladder is a narrow platform, and only three or four people can stand. The temples on the mountain are limited by the narrow space and terrain, and the architectural pattern cannot be compared with the big temples at the foot of the mountain. Some small temples basically have only one main hall, plus one or two miscellaneous rooms, and the architectural layout is different from that of traditional temples.

There is a house next to the cliff on the left side of the platform, and there is a Maitreya Buddha in the middle, which is probably equivalent to the king's temple. Turning out from the next side door, there is a small courtyard where two yogis dressed as volunteers are having lunch. Just as we came in, the two practitioners quickly greeted us: "Have you eaten? Give you a bowl of noodles! "

We quickly declined, lamented the enthusiasm of the yogi and continued to visit it.

The main hall of Nanfeng Temple is made of red bricks, which is very simple. There are two mud embryo rooms next to it, which are probably the places where practitioners live and live.

There is a small yard in front of the main hall. Standing in the small yard, you can also overlook the Mount Zhongnan. It is the highest peak of Xiaowutai Mountain, and the view in front of the temple is extremely broad, which is suitable for sitting and watching Yun Qi. A friend from the same trade came here after a rain. He told us: at that time, we happened to meet the wonders of the sea of clouds, and a group of people stood in the yard and watched for a long time.

When we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Central South, we always felt that there was a faint smell of wine around us, and later it was found to be a strange pot in the corner of the yard. Volunteers after lunch happened to pass by, so we asked what it was. Volunteers told us that this is the medicinal liquor made by the master in the temple with turtle shells. It's a pity that Master was not here when we visited this time, otherwise we could discuss some ways of keeping in good health.
