Introduction to Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area

Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park Tourist Area is located in the state-owned Tianzhu Mountain Forest Farm in the northwest of Xiamen suburbs. The Fuzhou-Zhangzhou Expressway passes through from the south, making the transportation very convenient. The peaks in Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park are undulating, mostly above 700 meters. The highest peak, Tianzhu Mountain, is 933 meters above sea level, and the second highest peak, Xianling Banner, is 916 meters above sea level. There are five artificial lakes with a total storage capacity of more than 1,000 cubic meters. Among them, Xitou Lake has the largest water collection area, reaching 11 square kilometers. Tianzhu Mountain Forest Leisure Resort has charming forest landscape, rich animal and plant resources, majestic peaks, spectacular peaks and cliffs, picturesque lakes and mountains, and historical cultural landscapes. Tourists who come here for sightseeing and recreation can plan their itinerary in advance and carry out activities such as forest tours, mountaineering adventures, hunting, camping rest, and summer recuperation.

What are the attractions?

There are three main lakes in the park, namely Haoyue Lake and Erhai Lake in the west and Tianzhu Lake in the east. The green mountains by the lake are reflected in the water, and the scenery is very beautiful. Because the east and west are far apart and the scenery is not much different, we usually choose to sightsee on one side. Among them, Zhenji Temple and Baizhu Garden are located in the east, and Tianzhu Station is near the west gate, where you can fish, dine and drink tea. Self-driving vehicles are not allowed to enter the scenic area. You must either hike up the mountain or take a car in the scenic area (30 yuan for the whole trip) for sightseeing, which takes about half a day to a full day.

Self-driving: Navigate to the west gate of Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park, park the car and walk for about 20 minutes to Yuanyang Creek.

Bus: Take bus No. 805 to the east gate of Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park, then transfer to the scenic bus to Panlong Road Station.
