What are the tourist routes from Changchun to Inner Mongolia?

The Tourism Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region specially reminds that four relatively mature tourist routes have been built in Inner Mongolia, which saves tourists time, effort and money.

According to Ma Yongsheng, deputy director of the Tourism Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, these four tourist routes are as follows:

The first one: Hohhot-Baotou-Bayannaoer-Ordos, which can not only visit grasslands, visit cultural relics and historical sites, experience desert exploration, but also worship the mausoleum of Genghis Khan. Especially for tourists from Beijing, it takes less than an hour by plane or 1 hours by train to reach Hohhot, Qingcheng, beyond the Great Wall, and then take a bus to Baotou, Ordos and other places. The whole journey takes up to 4 days.

Article 2: "Journey to the Secret Land of Alashan", visit the ruins of the ancient city, experience the vicissitudes of history, visit Dongfeng Aerospace City to popularize scientific knowledge, watch ethnic dances and feel the charm of folk customs. Foreign tourists can take the plane or train directly to Wuhai city, and then transfer to the tourist bus to go to their destination. The whole journey lasts for 3 to 5 days.

article 3: Xilinhot-Chifeng-Tongliao, mainly including Xilingol grassland, folk customs, Ashatu stone forest and Liao cultural tourism. Chifeng City, only 46 kilometers away from Beijing, was once the birthplace of Liao country. Apart from historical sites such as Shangjing, Zhongjing and Zuling in Liao, it also boasts unique natural scenery. The scenic spots such as Wulanbutong Grassland, Ashatu Stone Forest, Ice Mortar and Stone Mortar are all must-see places for tourists from Beijing and Tianjin.

article 4: Manzhouli-Hailar-aershan mainly focuses on grassland scenery, folk customs, border town scenery and ice and snow tourism. Manzhouli is the largest railway port in China, adjacent to Russia, and Beijing tourists can experience the border customs here by 2 hours' flight. Next, I came to Hailar and Aershan to see grasslands, wash hot springs and experience the fun of leisure travel.

Ma Yongsheng said that due to the increasingly convenient transportation to the above-mentioned tourist attractions, the grassland go on road trip in Beijing-Hohhot, Beijing-Xilinhot and Beijing-Chifeng is correspondingly mature, and tourists can enjoy the grassland scenery during their journey.

Inner Mongolia has vast grasslands, forests and deserts. It was once the cradle of the northern ancient ethnic minorities such as Xiongnu, Qidan and Mongolia, and it is rich in tourism resources, mainly including grassland, desert, forests, borders, ethnic customs and cultural relics. In recent years, the number of tourists received and the growth rate of total tourism revenue in Inner Mongolia are all above 2%, which is higher than the national average development level.
