Lugu Lake Mountain Road has eighteen bends. When it rains a little, it will slide, and sometimes there will be falling rocks on the mountain. If you are not familiar with the road conditions, self-driving is not recommended.

Lugu Lake has a one-day tour or a two-day tour, including round-trip expenses. It is recommended to choose a two-day tour and stay for one night to play slowly. It is more convenient and worry-free to play by integrating all the fine scenic spots in Lugu Lake.

Because the road is still under repair, it takes six or seven hours to get to Yongsheng County. There are two roads, and the other one will take almost two hours faster, but you can only take a car with less than 9 seats. If you take a bus at the passenger station, you will arrive at Yongsheng County.

Let me talk about my original method first. Take Yitong tourist shuttle bus from Lijiang to Lugu Lake. I bought a round-trip ticket 138. I don't know if the price has changed now. Or booking at the inn is similar, it may be a little more expensive. The boarding point in Old Town of Lijiang is generally at the entrance of the parking lot at the north gate of the ancient city. If you go back to Lijiang, you can get off at Lige Village and Dashui. Then, it is said that in Lugu Lake, you can charter a car around the lake, with a per capita of 40 to 50, which is much better than an electric car. After playing all day, the drivers around the lake are all very good. The tour guide explained that there are many places to play at the end of the day. These people can stop wherever they want and play whatever they want. I used to have a good time by the lake. If I ride very tired, I may not have enough time all day. It is usually 8: 00 a.m. (in the water) to take the shuttle bus from Lugu Lake to Lijiang.

I only have the number of the driver around the lake. I don't think it is necessary to charter a bus from Lijiang to Lugu Lake. It's at least twice as expensive, and I'm also responsible for the driver's food, drink and accommodation in Lugu Lake. That is, it is the driver who chartered the bus to and from Lugu Lake. Otherwise, he will take you to Lugu Lake and return empty-handed. In this case, he won't go unless the price is high and the route is not good.

So you can either take a bus to Lijiang, go to the high-speed passenger station, or take a special bus. Besides what I said earlier, you can also book tickets at the inn, which may be more expensive.

Old Town of Lijiang to Shangri-La.

Lijiang to Shangri-La 178km, about 4 hours by car. There are many secondary roads and mountain roads.

From Old Town of Lijiang to Meili Snow Mountain

Tips for Yulong Snow Mountain The transportation to Yulong Snow Mountain is still not very convenient. You have to buy your own chartered tickets. The ticket price of Snow Mountain is relatively high. If it counts, it is recommended to sign up for a purely fun group.

Lashihai Tea Horse Ancient Road is an important commercial distribution center of the ancient Silk Road and southwest China. Riding on the ancient tea-horse road still feels very good, that is, riding in the footsteps of ancient businessmen.

I have to remind tourists not to be impressed by the low-cost group or low-cost fare to Lashihai. Once you go, you will be killed. I still suggest booking a one-day tour of Lashihai Tea Horse Ancient Road through formal channels.
