Qinhuangdao, referred to as Qin, is a municipality under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, one of the first coastal open cities in China, and an important foreign trade port in the north. Located in North China, northeastern Hebei Province, it borders the Bohai Sea to the south, Yanshan Mountain to the north, Huludao to the east, Tangshan to the west, and Chengde to the north. It is in the center of the Bohai Rim Economic Circle and is the junction of the two major economic zones of Northeast China and North China.
