The major of tourism and hotel management is set up in the industrial school of our school, aiming at cultivating high-tech applied professionals who can meet the needs of the first line of production, construction, management and service in the tourism industry, develop morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically and laboriously in an all-round way, master the basic theories, knowledge and skills of tourism and hotel management, and have the theoretical and practical abilities of modern tourism hotel management.

In the first semester, students adopt the "broad-based" model, based on extensive cultural foundation and management theory courses, including foreign languages, computers, etiquette and protocol, introduction to tourism, tourism geography and other basic disciplines; The second semester should be graded. In the setting of basic cultural courses, specialized courses and skills courses, the "inverted triangle" training mode is adopted to stimulate students' interest in this major, strengthen the study and training of skills and knowledge, and arrange professional skills internships in the lobby, guest rooms and catering departments. Our curriculum system can be roughly divided into two types.

1, the management curriculum system focuses on cultivating students' management ability, especially catering management ability. The main discipline of hotel management is management, but it is different from the ordinary management major, and it emphasizes the investigation of skills. Therefore, courses such as introduction to tourism, introduction to hotel management, catering, guest room and lobby management, and tourism geography are set up, which organically combines professional management with management disciplines to familiarize students with the management methods and modes of various departments and links in hotels, which not only cultivates students' solid theoretical foundation of management, but also cultivates their ability to solve specific problems through theoretical analysis. Introduction to Tourism Management: It mainly introduces the basic knowledge and theory of tourism and related analysis methods. Tourism Geography: Mainly study the basic knowledge of China geography and world geography, and master the economic geography of major tourist countries in the world. Catering service and management: mainly study the theoretical knowledge of catering organization, menu planning, food raw material procurement and supply, so that students can improve the level of catering management and management. Front room service and management: mainly teaching theoretical issues and management methods such as front desk registration, front desk service, price management, room service management and room management benefits. , so that students can master the advanced management methods of front office and guest room and fill in various front office reports.

2 Skill-based curriculum system, focusing on cultivating students' practical ability. Mainly used in front hall, restaurant, guest room and entertainment place. Theory and practice intersect, so that both can be improved. Catering service skills: By effectively organizing students' skills training, they can master the operational skills of Chinese and western banquets (focusing on setting tables, pouring wine, serving, serving dishes, folding napkins), so as to better meet the requirements of future job groups. Room skills: mainly organize students to practice various skills of room service, such as cleaning, maintenance and various room service items, with emphasis on western-style bed making, so as to train students to complete various room service operation items accurately and quickly.
