How to apply for a tourist visa abroad?

If it is your first time to travel abroad, you generally have to go through several steps such as applying for a passport, applying for a visa, and booking air tickets. If you are traveling abroad with your baby, remember to apply for a passport for your baby.

1. Apply for a passport: Bring your photo, ID card, and household registration book to the exit-entry office of the Public Security Bureau where you are registered to apply for a passport. 10 to 15 days is available.

(1) Submit the completed "Passport Application Form" with a recent front-face color photo of the applicant (48X33mm, white background) attached, and submit 2 photos of the same specifications.

(2) Submit copies of the city’s resident household registration book (or original household registration certificate) and ID card, and submit the originals for verification.

Remarks: Applicants must apply in person. Applicants who are under 16 years old or over 70 years old can entrust an agent (the agent must submit their ID card). To apply for a child passport, parents need to bring their household registration book and birth certificate. Ordinary passport costs 200 yuan/book.

2. Apply for a visa: Once you have your passport, go to the embassy of that country to apply for a visa.

(1) 2 carefully filled application forms, with recent ID photos attached
