Travel notes of Aershan

At the beginning of September, my father began to consider going out for three people during the eleventh holiday. I'm scared and always refuse. Later, the bad weather, bad time and no tickets in Aershan made me feel that the plan was going to be ruined.

But perhaps because his sentence "It was probably only the last trip for the three of us" was so destructive that I was at home the night before and was thrown a sentence "I bought a ticket to Aershan and left at night" when I went out in the morning.

Then there was a chaotic day, packing things, booking hotels and booking cars. When I woke up in the morning, I thought it was a happy day at home, but at night I got on the train to Aershan.

"Travel"

Day 1 day: Night train to Aershan.

The next day: Arrive at 6: 40am, visit and stay in Aershan Geopark (Wusu Langzi Lake, Tianchi Lake, Binghe River, Santanxia Lake, Chi Di Lake and Dujuan Lake).

Day 3: Visit Aershan Scenic Area (Tianchi in Tuofengling, Shitanglin and Grand Canyon) and arrive in Chaihe Town in the evening.

Day 4: In the morning, the scenic spots around Chaihe Town (landscapes, rock paintings and ten bays) set off for Aershan City in the afternoon.

Day 5: Half-day tour of the harbor and Qixian wetland grassland, and return to the train at 8 pm.

Non-holiday tourism is highly recommended, but the scenic spot is very large, and even holiday tourists will be scattered. According to drivers in autumn scenery, September 15 is the best. It's still very cold on May Day, so you can ski in Aershan in winter.

Transportation: There are few flights to Aershan, only flights from Beijing and Ulanhot, and other flights can only be by car or train. You can rent a car to play after you arrive.

Scenic area transportation: You can only take the shuttle bus provided internally or the local taxi in Aershan for sightseeing. Private cars can only park in the parking lot outside or just pass by the scenic spot, and can't stay in the scenic spot.

Play: The scenic spot includes 7 paid scenic spots, which must be entered with tickets purchased at the entrance of the scenic spot. The rest of the scenery can be parked at any time. I was alone in Aershan Scenic Area for about two days, and I felt a little aesthetic fatigue later. Two days is best. If summer comes, you can also drift.

Tickets: Tickets for Aershan Scenic Area include tickets and fares. Whether you take a taxi or take the bus provided by the scenic spot, you have to pay the fare. The ticket is valid for two days. If you just drive by or don't want to enter the scenic spot, you don't need to buy scenic spot tickets, but you can't park in the scenic spot parking lot.

Accommodation: There are many accommodations in Aershan and Chaihe, mostly in the specifications of farmhouses or small hotels. If you are not traveling in the peak season, you can find accommodation in the local area. There are also accommodations in Aershan Scenic Area, which are basically farmhouses. It was already very cold in Aershan in June+10, 5438. A few hotels have heating, and most of them are electric blankets.

Aershan is located in Xing 'an League, Inner Mongolia, the hinterland of Daxinganling forest region, and the scenic spot belongs to volcanic lava landform.

Our route is basically from the north (Aershan) to the south (Chaihe), and then back to Aershan, and then go north to the grassland.

These days, traffic depends on chartered cars, and the driver's master born and raised in Aershan is touching, steady and fast. On the last day, he was hit by a taxi on the grassland.

When I arrived on the first day, because it rained the day before and that morning, there was a layer of fog on the mountain, the sunshine was intermittent and the clouds were not very thick. Even before I got to the scenic spot, I felt autumn scenery moving.

Before I came to Aershan, I always thought that pine trees were evergreen, and then I saw larch. The golden pine needles on the ground were completely unaware of the existence of leaves from a distance.

Besides larch, there is a large birch forest in Aershan. Unfortunately, it came too late, and it was almost bald, leaving only a gray trunk. When the car passed by, it left a misty trace between the black trunks of larch.

As soon as I saw the birch forest, I began to listen to Pu Shu's songs, but the scenery was so beautiful that I couldn't help feeling sad.

The advantage of chartered car is that you can call the master to stop at any time, because it comes early and there are basically no cars and people on the road. Influenced by these photographers, the master is familiar with beautiful places. Before you stop, he will remind you that you can take pictures here.

The driver's uncle works in the local fire station, so he is teaching him the knowledge of forest fire prevention and extinguishing, the names of plants and all kinds of miscellaneous knowledge all the way. How wide the fire area should be, the wind used for fire fighting does not use water, and the donkey-tail tree (with thicker roots than the trunk) is a man-made type of work, and you can say whatever you see.

Probably because of the fire in 1998, the whole scenic spot in Aershan has a strong sense of fire prevention. Vehicles entering the scenic spot and the area where Chaihe River is located need to fill in the information form and take away the fire sources and kindling. The related card in the middle asks whether the people in the car smoke, and the fire source will be taken away when they walk into the scenic spot. Fortunately, none of us smoke, which is more convenient.

When we borrowed a drifting spot to park, a dog in the yard ran towards us. It's not too close at first, but as long as someone opens the door and gets off the bus, it will run closer, standing quietly in front of you without calling or walking, watching you until it makes people feel soft. It's a pity that I didn't bring anything he could eat. He looked at me and I didn't know what to do.

Not far from the scenic spot is Wusu prodigal lake, which is on the roadside and does not need tickets. Soon after, the sun just walked to the other side, reflecting a golden yellow, beautiful.

The first scenic spot to enter is Tianchi, which belongs to the crater lake and was formed by accumulated water after volcanic eruption. Need to climb 998 steps, not high, most steps are very slow. Aershan was only developed in recent years, most of the scenic spots and facilities are new, and individual plank roads can be seen as having just been painted.

The overall feeling of Tianchi is very ordinary. Unless it is photographed by a drone, it is just an ordinary lake at close range. But when going down the mountain, there is an excellent view overlooking the mountain and surrounded by trees. Because the road before going down the mountain is slow, I can't see the mystery ahead, and the feeling of being suddenly enlightened is unforgettable.

After Tianchi, I went to the unfrozen river, Santanxia and Ditch.

Du Fu Lake is probably a good place to shoot sunrise and sunset. Just after sunset, the good angle has been occupied by a tripod.

Interestingly, Dufu Lake was once called 8 1 bubble, and everyone laughed and said that these scenic spots in this lake and that lake were actually just bubbles.

The rest at night is the B&B in the scenic spot, and the conditions are average. Fortunately, it was only one night. The kang was really hot, and the whole person lying on it was steamed dry.

It's still early to get up early to hump ridge, and it's still a little cold, and there is frost in the shadow of the plank road. The plank road, the shadow and the frost on the chair on the ground are all very interesting.

It's warm in sunny places, and I don't even want to wear a coat when I climb to the top of the mountain. Tianchi in hump ridge is much more beautiful than the day before.

The whole plank road has just reached the top of the mountain near the exit of the mountain, and there is a road leading to the water respectively. The former is a platform near the water, which looks good when taking pictures. The latter has a wide field of vision and several tables and chairs for rest, so you can sit quietly and enjoy the beautiful scenery. But both sides need to climb back after going down, so it is recommended to choose one or you will be very tired.

There are not many people in the scenic spot in the morning, and the empty plank road, breeze, sunshine and lake water are simply uncomfortable.

In Shitanglin, I saw another pine tree that I had never seen before-slash pine, also called climbing pine, creeping on the ground. Shitanglin landform is a geological relic after Quaternary volcanic eruption, and gravel-like landform is solidified after magma flows.

It is said that there are also various shapes formed by the surface rupture of the first solidified lava during the lava flow, just like the spray in the rock sea. But because I only visited the first half of Shitang forest, I didn't see those.

In this rocky sea, I saw an animal that looked like a mouse or a rabbit for the first time. At first I thought it was a vole or something, but the more I looked at it, the more different I felt. Later, I asked the master to know that it is called a stone rabbit (scientific name pika) and only lives in volcanic lava areas. I saw it many times in the Grand Canyon. The voice is crisp. At first glance, it sounds like a bird. It is not afraid of people, especially cute.

The early means of transportation in Aershan was a small green train. The master said that he had been fighting in the small train since he was a child. Now there is only one front and two carriages left, and it is open as a restaurant near Guibeiyan.

The Grand Canyon is a volcanic lava fault zone, and the water at the bottom of the valley is the source of Chaihe River. The canyon has a peculiar terrain, and there are many strange rocks on both sides. I've always wanted to explain it to my friends who came all the way down to study geology. Just seeing the word "bottom" on the sign, my classmate L and I both said "I have a bottom in my heart", and I couldn't help myself.

Leave the Grand Canyon, the last scenic spot in Aershan, and start for Chaihe River. It takes about 2-3 hours to drive from Aershan, and the road is still beautiful.

When I arrived in Chaihe, I caught up with the power outage in the whole town. The generator just moved out of the hotel is ringing, but it can only meet the needs of the front desk and corridor. Also because of the power failure, there are very few restaurants in the town that can have dinner, and most of them drive their own generators. Half delicious, the power supply is restored. Finally, the hot water and electric blanket landed at night.

The formation in the last two days was very easy, basically by car. There are not many scenic spots near Chaihe River. One painting of mountains and rivers and one painting of eighteen bays can be completed in one morning by car.

It is said that the landscape rock wall painting was discovered by a painter while sketching. The fault formed by crustal movement and the vegetation spread on it constitute a natural landscape painting. Unfortunately, it was early morning when I arrived. Backlight, dazzling sunshine, I can't see clearly with the naked eye, let alone take pictures.

There are shoals in front of the scenic rock paintings. All the tourists who come here gather here. I don't know if they want to show off in an ostentatious manner or are bored. Several off-road vehicles have driven down the shallows one after another, attracting people to look in all directions.

The top ten bays are about several winding places of the Muir River. Expressway is basically built along the river. Driving all the way, the river is at the foot of the mountain.

There is a hillside, where the signs of the top ten bays are really hung. Vehicles are not allowed to drive up, so you can only get off and walk. The scenic spots are undeveloped, and there is no plank road up the mountain, but it is not high, and it is only a few minutes' walk.

It's just that the terraced plank road on the top of the mountain has been in disrepair for a long time or has not been built at all, with signs hanging and surrounded by tourists. But it's no use being around. Everyone is very focused on the scenery. Even the children were running around on the plank road, showing me nervously for a long time, for fear that the board would collapse and he would fall. Sometimes I really don't know whether life is important or scenery is important.

I had another pot-stewed lunch. Including the dinner the day before, this is the second time I have eaten this kind of food. A large iron pot, use wood directly, choose the meat and side dishes you want to stew, and add the big sauce prepared by the store. You can finish a big pot in half an hour.

The day before, the stewed goose was just so-so, but the stewed fish on this day was really delicious, and I almost collapsed in my chair at last.

The storefront feels very real, and it was opened by her mother-in-law with her daughter-in-law. There were many people the night before, and the little girl who was probably in junior high school at home was also helping. The next day, she sat in the private room and did her homework. When we left, the proprietress said that we had a good time and they had a sense of accomplishment.

After lunch, I returned to the center of Aershan. It was already dark when I arrived. I walked around the hotel for a while and then went back to rest. That night 10, I caught up with the city's water cut, and I can't imagine the luck of a power cut and water cut for one day.

The last day is about a half-day trip, going to Xiakou border, and then going to Qixian wetland grassland. At this time, there is no green grass in the grassland, and because it is a grazing area, it is basically completely bald, but it can't stop the good scenery.

There is a wave of red rocks that have not yet flown south and have a rest in the wetland lake. Lao Wu was hanging in the distance, and as a result, a group of people drove all the birds away, just giving him a chance to shoot.

After those lovely people kept herding sheep, our driver became interested in teasing Hongyan. It's really cool to drive crazily on the grassland. It's a pity that there are only a few scattered when driving nearby. On the contrary, the road is not easy to open, and there is water in the ups and downs. Thanks to the skill of the master, it gave the taxi driver a cross-country effect.

Seeing the desertification of Inner Mongolia grassland with my own eyes, I feel particularly sorry for staying in the mountains for so many days. But what I saw was not very serious, and I planted plants to help me recover.

On the way to drive, the master suddenly said, "I'll get you something to eat." Then he stopped, got off the bus, shut the door in one go, slid down the driveway and jumped up to reach the fruit on the tree. It is still full of naughty and enthusiasm as a child. I can't see that my grandchildren are going to primary school.

Aershan city is basically occupied by tourists and tourism. After the tourist season, it seems that there are few people left in the whole city. The urban area with only one main road is very clean, and many buildings and facilities are also built for tourism.

Although the accommodation was full of twists and turns, the mountain view perfectly offset all negative emotions. Sure enough, autumn is my favorite season.
