Go on road trip's five-day travel strategy from Xi 'an to Leshan Giant Buddha, Emei Mountain, Dujiangyan and Jiuzhaigou.

Five days is too short, basically on the road, and there is no scenery at all. If you must take this road, you can start from Xi 'an, arrive at Guangyuan via Beijing-Kunming Expressway, take Lanhai Expressway, and then arrive at Jiuzhaigou via provincial highway 105 and national highway 2 12. The journey will take nearly a day.

Check into the hotel after arrival and visit Jiuzhaigou the next day. On the third morning, take provincial highway 30 1 to national highway 2 13, and arrive at Dujiangyan city. The trip will take almost a day.

On the fourth morning, I visited Dujiangyan water conservancy project, which lasted about one morning. After lunch, I drove to Leshan. Emei Mountain and Leshan Giant Buddha are both in Leshan City. If time is short, you can go to Emei Mountain first, drive directly from the back mountain to the mountain, stay at the top of the mountain for one night and watch the sunrise. After reading it, drive down the mountain to Leshan Giant Buddha. Leshan Giant Buddha has nothing to see. It takes 1 hour to complete, and then you can go back to Xi 'an. Ideally, I can return to Xi 'an late at night on the fifth or sixth day (in case of burning the midnight oil).

Personally, I think it saves the most time, but as you can see, except Jiuzhaigou, everything else is just a cursory tour. Although Sichuan is close to Shaanxi, it is mountainous and dangerous, and many places that look close on the map actually take more than half a day to get there. And the time I said can only be done by a master who is used to Sichuan mountain roads. It's okay that Chengdu is surrounded by plains, but the roads to Jiuzhaigou are all mountains, and many winding roads are very dangerous, with cliffs on one side and deep streams on the other. Although you can go back to Xi 'an by expressway, it is not safe to burn the midnight oil. Expressway in Sichuan is still worse than other places.

So I really suggest that you don't make too much time. For example, you can visit Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong less, and visit Dujiangyan and Chengdu when you have time. There is really no need to go to Leshan again. Although the scenery of Mount Emei is quite good, you can't feel anything just by watching a sunrise. In addition, the scenery on the way from Jiuzhaigou to Dujiangyan is also quite good, and it will pass through many scenic spots, such as earthquake sites and so on. This way, the trip is more relaxed, you can drive slowly, and you can enjoy the scenery better.

As for the specific route, such as which way to take, you can find it on Baidu map or car navigation, so I won't go into details.
