Beijing: Those who break their promises will be restricted from staying in star-rated hotels.

On August 30th, according to the website of Beijing Tourism Development Committee, the first credit supervision platform of Beijing tourism industry "Credit Tourism" was launched. Tourists, tour guides and other untrustworthy people in various fields will be restricted from staying in star-rated hotels and participating in high-consumption tourism.

Zou Weinan, deputy inspector of Beijing Tourism Commission, introduced that the credit supervision platform of Beijing tourism industry has realized the interconnection with Beijing public credit information service platform and Beijing enterprise credit information platform, and adopted measures such as synchronous publicity of multiple networks, increasing inspection frequency and strengthening key supervision to realize the coordination and classification of supervision.

"At present, the Beijing Tourism Commission has jointly signed memorandums of cooperation in different fields with the departments of development and reform, civil affairs, transportation, industry and commerce, taxation, customs and the Communist Youth League Committee. Those who break their promises in various fields will be restricted from staying in star-rated hotels and participating in high-consumption tourism, and they will be strictly examined when applying for travel agency licenses and handling tour guide cards, so as to promote the implementation of supervision coordination and credit joint reward and punishment mechanisms among government departments, improve supervision efficiency and further standardize the order of the tourism market. Zou Weinan said.

Zou Weinan also pointed out that the construction of Beijing tourism industry credit supervision platform began on March 30, 20 17. Up to now, the platform has docked more than1700,000 credit data, covering 4 18 16 tour guides, 2,669 travel agencies, 285 A-level scenic spots and 547 star-rated hotels in Beijing.
