Take the train to Taishan Station, then take bus No. 4 or No. 6 to the foot of Dai Temple. There is a street called Tongtian Street to the south, where you can find a hotel. To the north is Dai Temple, one of the three major temples in China. Tickets are 20, and student ID is half price.

The minimum cost is to walk the whole way up the mountain. From the north gate of Dai Temple, you can take bus No. 3 to the terminal, Hongmen. Tickets for Mount Tai are RMB 125, and student ID cards are half price, RMB 64. You can choose to go up the mountain at 90 o'clock in the evening and rent a coat at the top of the mountain. It costs 10 yuan for a new one and 5 yuan for an old one. Then watch the sunrise and go down the mountain. If you want souvenirs, you can just buy them at the Red Gate when you get down.
