1, Dali Ancient City:
Dali ancient city is located in the west of Yunnan Province, also known as Ye Yucheng and Zi Cheng. The history of the ancient city can be traced back to the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, and the Yangcheng built by Luo Feng of Nanzhao Wang Ge is its new capital. The ancient city was built in the fifteenth year of Ming Hongwu, covering an area of 3 square kilometers. Dali is one of the first batch of 24 famous historical and cultural cities in China announced by the State Council on February 8th, 1982.

Xinhua Village, formerly known as Shizhaizi, is located 7 kilometers north of Yunhe Ancient City, 2 kilometers away from Lijiang Airport/kloc-0, with a total area of 16.88 square kilometers. There are 5227 people in 49 households in the whole village1/kloc-0, and the Bai nationality accounts for 98.5% of the total population. This is a typical Bai stockade.

It is located in front of the Fotu Temple on the north side of Yangping Village, Xiaguan Town, Dali City, at the foot of the sunset peak of Cangshan Mountain in Dali, adjacent to Yangnanxi in the north, three kilometers away from Xiaguan in the south and about 500 meters away from National Highway 2 14 in the east. The inscription eulogized the brilliant achievements of Yuan Shizu Kublai Khan and expressed many policies and strategies he adopted to pacify Dali.
