What information do I need to apply for a visa?
(1) Passport: original passport with blank visa page, passport photo page with validity of more than 6 months 1 copy.
(2) Visa application form and photos: a copy of People's Republic of China (PRC) visa application form 1 copy, and qualified color visa photos pasted on the application form 1 copy.
(3) Proof of legal stay or residence (applicable to those who do not apply for a visa to their country of nationality): If they do not apply for a visa to their country of nationality, the original and photocopy of valid proof of legal stay, residence, work and study in the host country are required.
(4) Original China passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who once had China nationality and later joined foreign nationality): If applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, the original China passport and a copy of passport photo page must be provided.
If you have obtained a Chinese visa and apply for a visa with a new foreign passport, you must provide the photo page of the original foreign passport and a copy of the obtained Chinese visa (if the name recorded in the new passport is inconsistent with the original passport, you must also provide relevant official documents to change your name).

C visa:

D visa:

F visa:

G visa:

J 1 visa:

M visa:

2. Visit information of the invitee: the reason for coming to China, the date of arrival and departure, the place of visit, the relationship with the inviting unit or inviter, the source of expenses, etc.
3. Information of inviting unit or inviter: name, telephone number, address, seal of unit, signature of legal representative or inviter, etc.
(2) A copy of the business license of the inviting unit and the identity certificate of the signer of the invitation letter.
Q 1 visa:
If it is a family reunion, please provide:
(1) An invitation letter issued by a China citizen living in China or a foreigner with permanent residency in China, which shall include the following contents:
1. Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, etc.
2. Visit information of the invitee: the reason for coming to China, the intended date of arrival, the intended place of residence, the intended duration of residence, the relationship with the inviter, the source of expenses, etc.
3. Inviter information: name, telephone number, address and signature of the inviter.
(2) A copy of the inviter's Chinese ID card or a copy of the foreigner's passport and permanent residence permit;
In the case of foster care, you must provide:
(a) the foster care power of attorney notarized by Chinese embassies and consulates abroad or by the host country or China;

S 1 visa:
If you are visiting relatives for a long time, you must provide
(1) An invitation letter issued by a foreigner staying in China for work, study or other reasons. The invitation letter shall include the following contents:

Z visa:
One of the following supporting materials shall be provided:
(1) Alien Employment Certificate issued by the human resources and social security department and the invitation letter or invitation confirmation letter from the authorized unit; If the working period does not exceed 90 days, the Certificate of Short-term Work of Foreigners in China is also required.
And the applicant must apply for a visa before the start date indicated in the Certificate of Short-term Work for Foreigners in China, and the working time cannot exceed the time limit indicated in the Certificate of Short-term Work for Foreigners in China;
(2) The Permit for Foreign Experts to Work in China issued by the Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and the invitation letter or confirmation letter from the authorized unit;
(3) Registration certificate of resident representative office of foreign (regional) enterprises issued by the administrative department for industry and commerce and invitation letter or invitation confirmation letter of authorized unit;
(4) The approval letter for commercial cultural performances issued by the administrative department of culture (only applicable to applicants who come to China for commercial performances) and the invitation letter or invitation confirmation letter issued by the foreign affairs office of the people's government of the relevant province (autonomous region or municipality).
If the performance period does not exceed 90 days, the certificate of short-term work for foreigners in China shall be provided, and the applicant shall apply for a visa before the start date indicated in the certificate of short-term work for foreigners, and the performance time shall not exceed the time limit indicated in the certificate of short-term work for foreigners in China;
(5) An invitation letter issued by China Offshore Oil Corporation for foreigners to engage in offshore oil operations in People's Republic of China (PRC);
Please note that the holder must apply for a residence certificate from the exit-entry administration of the public security organ of the local people's government at or above the county level within 30 days after entry, unless the visa indicates "stay for 30 days after entry".
