Four famous springs in Jinan
2. Black Tiger Spring: It is located under the steep cliff on the south bank of the south moat of Jiefangge, Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, and on the east road of Black Tiger Spring in Jinan City. Black Tiger Spring is a natural cave, and the spring water mainly comes from the southeast of the cave. The cave is made of bluestone, and it is hidden under the rock wall. The spring pool is made of stone, slightly rectangular, about 17 meters wide and about 3 meters deep. Three Shi Hu heads are juxtaposed on the south wall of the spring pool. The spring water flows through the culvert and spouts out through three stone tiger mouths. The water inflow is second only to Baotu Spring. There are 14 famous springs such as Pipa, Xi Zhong and Jiunv nearby, forming a group of Black Tiger Springs. Black Tiger Spring is one of the "Seventy-two Famous Springs" in Jinan, which is listed in Jin Dynasty stele, Ming Dynasty Yan Bi's Poem of Seventy-two Springs and Qing Dynasty Hao Zhigong's Collection of Seventy-two Springs, ranking first among the "Black Tiger Springs".
3. Pearl Spring: It is the "Spring City"-the third spring in Jinan, Shandong. It is located in the center of the old city in Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, to the north of today's Pearl Spring Auditorium in quancheng road. It was the resident of Shandong Governor in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the plaque was inscribed by Emperor Qianlong. There are many Koizumi around, such as Chuquan, Xiting Spring, Shunquan, Yuhuan Spring and Taiyi Spring, which are called Pearl Springs.
4. Baimaiquan: Baimaiquan Park located in the northeast of Mingshui Street, Zhangqiu District, Jinan City. Mainly divided into Dongma Bay and Xima Bay with Mingshui, there are 25 famous springs. Baimai Spring, the main spring, was included in the seventy-two springs in Jinan in the Jin Dynasty. Baimaiquan Group belongs to the upstream water source of Jiangxiu River, a tributary of Xiaoqing River on the south bank of Bohai Sea. Springs mainly flow into Jiang Xiu from the right bank through Baimai River.
