Kim Il Sung Square is located in the central square of the North Korean capital. /kloc-0 was completed in August, 1954, with an area of 75,000 square meters, and the ground was paved with granite. Kim Il Sung Square is the place where North Korea holds important political and cultural activities, celebrations, public meetings and military parades. North and south of Kim Il Sung Square are the theme tower and study room of Renmin University.
Wanjingtai former residence
The former residence of Wanjingtai is the place where Kim Il Sung, the leader of the Korean people, was born, and Kim Il Sung spent his childhood here. Wanjingtai's former residence is located on the bank of Datong River in the west of Pyongyang, which is 2 kilometers away from the city center/kloc-0. The former residence of Wanjingtai is a simple hut with Korean characteristics. This used to be the house where ordinary people lived.

Wanshoutai Monument consists of large plastic arts sculptures with a total area of 240,000 square meters. This tower is 22.8m high and 50m long.
Theme tower
The main idea tower is located in the east bank of Datong River in the city center, and was built in April of 1982. The main thought tower is a symbol of the "main thought" founded by Kim Il Sung, which consists of the main tower, three portraits of people, six portraits of sub-theme groups, two pavilions and two large sprinklers. Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe was built to commemorate Kim Il Sung's victory in recovering Korea under Japanese colonial rule. It was built in April of the 70th anniversary of Kim Il Sung's birth, 1982, and is composed of15,000 pieces of high-grade granite, which is ten meters higher than the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
Qianlima statue
The bronze statue of Maxima was built in April of 196 1. It is located on a 32-meter-high tower and consists of more than 360 kinds of granite. This bronze statue shows a worker riding a "swift horse" and a farmer with wings. The bronze statue of Maxima symbolizes the heroism of the Korean people in their struggle to restore the national economy as soon as possible after the Korean War.
Friendship tower
The Friendship Tower is a memorial tower symbolizing the friendship between the DPRK and China. Built in 1959 and expanded in 1984. Inside the memorial tower, there is a list of Chinese people's Volunteer Army martyrs.
Dadongmen
Datong Gate, located on the bank of Datong River, was built in the middle of 6th century and was the east gate of the inner city of Pyongyang during Koguryo period.
Pyongyang clock
Pyongyang Bell is located in the "Bell Pavilion" in front of Datong, which was built in 1726. Until 1890, Pyongyang clock was used to send alarm and time information to Pyongyang citizens.
Longwangge
Lianguang Pavilion, located near Pyongyang Bell in Datong Gate, is one of the "Eight Scenes of Kansai". It was first built in Koguryo period and rebuilt in111year. This pavilion is named Shanshui Pavilion. It was rebuilt again during the Korean dynasty and named "Lianguang Pavilion", which means "a pavilion tempered by wind and rain".
Liu Jing restaurant
Liu Jing Hotel in Pyongyang, North Korea is an unfinished skyscraper. Liu Jing Hotel is named after the ancient Korean name "Liu Jing". The building is a triangular pyramid building with a slope angle of 75 degrees, a height of 105 floor of 330 meters, and a total construction area of 360,000 square meters, with concrete structure. Liu Jing Hotel was originally intended to be the tallest hotel in the world, with 3,000 rooms, and opened on 1989. The building works started on 1982, and the structural works stopped after the completion of 1992. It is a concrete shell with no windows, external formwork and any internal equipment. Liu Jing Hotel has always been the most conspicuous landmark in Pyongyang since its flat roof, but it is not marked on the map of Pyongyang.
Chongling Hall and Chongren Hall
Chongling Hall and Chongren Hall are located next to Wanshoutai Fountain Park in the northwest of Kim Il Sung Square. Chongling Hall is an ancestral hall built to worship Dangen, the founding father of ancient Korea, and Dongming, the ancestor of Koguryo. Formerly known as Danding Temple and Tan Jun Hall. Later, on 1725, it was renamed Chongling Hall, and both Dangong and Dongming King were sacrificed. Chongren Hall, built in 1325, is an ancestral temple in the later period of Korea. It was built to worship Ji Zi and is one of the earliest buildings in Pyongyang.
Yimitai
One-meter platform is the gatehouse building of the middle peak of Peony Peak. Built on a platform about 1 1 meter high, it was once known as the Four Virtual Pavilion, and it was renamed as Yimitai from the Korean period. There are also ancient city gates and pavilions, such as the seven floors of Hongfu Temple, Qixingmen, Xuanwu Gate and Liuqing Pavilion on Peony Peak.
Ordinary door
The ordinary gate is located at the entrance of Ma Qianli Street on the ordinary river, which is the gate of the center of Pyongyang. On the basis of the original gate destroyed in the Korean War, it was rebuilt after moving 55 meters from the original place to the southeast. The purpose of moving is to blend in with the overall image of Ma Qianli Street. In the mid-6th century, Koguryo made Pyongyang its capital, which was originally built for its west gate, and later changed many times.
Longqu bookstore
Longqu Bookstore is located at the foot of Yue Long Mountain. A building built as a private educational institution during the Korean Dynasty. It is said that this was the place where Confucian scholar Xian Yuzun established a private school to teach Confucianism. After Xian Yuzun's death, his descendants expanded the academy at 1656. Enter the inner courtyard consisting of six buildings, flanked by the East Room and the Westinghouse respectively. Walk into the inner courtyard along the north steps of the front study room, and you will see the Dacheng Hall, the central building of the college.
Dacheng shancheng
In order to connect the peaks of Dacheng Mountain in Pyongyang, Dacheng Mountain City was built in the middle of the 3rd century. After Koguryo moved its capital to Pyongyang in 427, Dacheng Mountain City had important political and military significance and became the largest mountain city in Koguryo period. The circumference of the mountain city is 7076 meters, the total length of the city wall is 9284 meters, and the height is 4 to 5 meters. Dacheng Mountain City has 20 gates. The south gate of Mahayana Mountain City is located at the gate in the middle of Dacheng Mountain playground, which was rebuilt as it was in September 1978. Like Dacheng Mountain City, the South Gate was built before Koguryo moved its capital to Pyongyang in 427, from which we can fully understand the long-standing style of Koguryo's architectural art, and the front gate is 17. 15 meters long. The side width is 6.3 meters.
Anhegong site
The site of Anhegong, like Dacheng Mountain City, the ancient capital of Koguryo, is one of the important historical sites. In 427 AD, the Longevity King of Koguryo built this palace in the process of moving the capital from the domestic city (now Ji 'an County, Jilin Province, China). Kings lived in this palace for nearly 160 years, and it was not until 586 AD that the palace moved to Pyongyang. One side of the palace is 622 meters long and 12 meters high. Covering an area of about 380,000 square meters, the ruins of the palace are centered on three basic buildings, namely, the outer hall and the inner hall, forming the Nangong, the middle hall and the Gong Bei. The whole palace consists of five buildings.
Guangfa temple
Guangfa Temple is located 4 kilometers northeast of the Central Zoo. The temple built during the Koguryo period was destroyed in the Korean War and rebuilt in 1990. The Daxiong Hall of Guangfa Temple is a two-story building, which is rare in Buddhist temples in terms of architectural style. Centered on the Hall of the Great Hero, five buildings, namely Tianwangmen, Haiduomen, Dongsheng Hall and Xishengtang, constitute the whole Guangfa Temple. On the right side of Haiduo Gate, the first gate in the temple, there is an "inter-hall column" (where the Buddha flag is inserted). Haiduomen is carved with portraits of Wen Xiu Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. On the left side of Haiduomen is the historical monument of Guangfa Temple. The Heavenly King Gate is dedicated to the statue of the Heavenly King who protects the Buddha. Through Tianwangmen, you can see Dongsheng Hall and Xisheng Hall, which are places where monks live and study Buddhism. On the top corner of the second floor of the Ursa Major Hall, there are glittering oil paints, including Sakyamuni, Tathagata and Maitreya Buddha.
Tongmingwang tomb
Dongming Mausoleum is the tomb of Koguryo, the ancestor of Koguryo. Located 25 kilometers east of Pyongyang city center, it was rebuilt in May 1993. The Tomb Area includes the Tomb Area, Dingling Temple Area and Chen Xia Tomb Area, covering an area of 220 towns and steps. Tombs, tombs, tombs, statues of civil and military officials and memorial halls were all rebuilt from Dongming Tomb. The foundation of the king's tomb is quadrilateral. First, build an altar with big stones, and then seal the grave with mud. One side of the altar is 32 meters long, and the total height of the tomb is 1 1.5 meters.
The mausoleum is surrounded by stone statues symbolizing Korean heroism. There are stone sacrificial tables, stone benches, stone pillars and statues of civil and military officials in front of the grave. In front of the statue are stone tablets, including the tablet of Dongwang, the ancestor of Koguryo, and the tablet of the historical records of Dongwang, the ancestor of Koguryo.
The memorial hall is a place to pay homage to Dongming King, which consists of exhibition room, corridor and memorial room. Murals are painted in the memorial hall, and 22 themed murals are painted on 29 walls. The nine murals in the exhibition room reflect Wang Dongming's life. The eight murals in the corridor reflect the production activities and cultural development level of Koguryo people, and the murals in the sacrificial room show the majestic posture of Koguryo's army centered on the portrait of Koguryo.
Dingling Temple Area is centered on the 8-corner stone pagoda on the 7th floor in the courtyard surrounded by cloisters, and consists of the Central Gate, Puguang Hall, Longhe Hall and Jile Hall. The middle gate is the main entrance of Dingling Temple.
15 second lieutenant's tomb in the second lieutenant's tomb area is the tomb of second lieutenant and general loyal to Koguryo. 400 meters to the west of the tomb, there is a pearl lotus pond, which was an artificial lake built when the tomb of Dongming was built.
Tanjunling
Tanjunling is the tomb of the Korean ancestors, who established the first country on the Korean Peninsula. It is located in Wenxingli, Jiangdong County, 38km northeast of Pyongyang. Pyongyang to the left of Jiangdong expressway, 2 kilometers away from Jiangdong No.1 Road. Tanjunling covers an area of 45 towns and is an important historical site of North Korea. There are parking lots on the left and right sides of the entrance road of Tanjunling, and you can climb the rebuilt monument field and mausoleum top along the built road. The reconstructed monuments include those of Lingmen and Tanjunling and historical monuments. Lingmen is a kind of door-like building, which is made of polished stones and has the style of ancient memorial buildings. Walking up the 40-meter-wide steps from the monument, you can see the statues of eight courtiers and four sons of Dangen placed according to the official position at that time. There are two big altars around the mausoleum. The tomb is pyramid-shaped and made of white granite. The bottom of the mausoleum is 50 meters wide, 50 meters long and 22 meters high. The top of the mausoleum is very big. The entrance to the mausoleum is behind, which can accommodate 10 people. One side is 5.7 meters long and 4.8 meters high, and there are two coffins of the Dangong couple inside.
Museum of Korean Revolution
The Museum of Korean Revolution and Wanshoutai Monument stand together on Wanshoutai Mountain. It opened in August, 1948, and was named the Central Museum of the National Liberation Struggle. Reopening in June, 1972, renamed the Korean Revolution Museum and moved to Wanshou Taishan.
