Jiangxi Vocational College of Tourism and Commerce is a public full-time general higher education institution for tourism and commerce established in April 2002 with the approval of the Jiangxi Provincial People’s Government. Its predecessor was Jiangxi Provincial Business School (founded in 1964), Jiangxi Provincial Tourism School (established in 1987), Jiangxi Provincial Nuclear Industry Technical School (established in 1964).
