1.PS is a bitmap software. The so-called bitmap, also known as bitmap, is simply a picture whose smallest unit consists of pixels, and scaling will be distorted. So bitmap is composed of pixels, that is, many small squares, so it is not appropriate to use PS to arrange text layout.

2. In addition, PS is not suitable for processing vector images, which will greatly consume pixels! 3. As we all know, the source file of PS is PSD format, which takes up a lot of space. It contains a lot of image data information, such as layers, channels, clipping paths, etc. , and is composed of a large number of pixels, with a large amount of data and a large file, thus occupying a large space. Moreover, PS can only be input according to the original actual size 1: 1, and cannot be reduced like vector graphics software. Therefore, it is not recommended to use PS to design large-size printed matter, such as outdoor advertisements and wall advertisements. It will directly cause the computer to get stuck, or the picture cannot be exported.

Color bleeding is a common printing term in printing. Bleeding in printing refers to increasing the pattern of the external size of the product, and adding some pattern extensions at the cutting position, which are specially used in each production process within its process tolerance range to avoid white edges or cut content in the cut finished product. Generally, the bleeding on each side is kept at 3 mm-5 mm. I leave a bleeding position of 3mm here. Because the bleeding position should be left and right, the width and height are increased by 6mm respectively.

The resolution depends on the size of the finished product to be made, which is related to the printing technology adopted. For example, the resolution of inkjet technology is above 30-50, and it is enough to keep the resolution of printed paper products at 300 pixels, which can achieve good visual effects.

CMYK mode is a common printing mode. Use cyan (c), magenta (m), yellow (y) and black (k) inks for printing. When making printed matter, the color mode must be CMYK color. If you make a mistake at first, it doesn't matter. You can check the CMYK color in image mode and modify it.

When all the parameters in the new dialog box are set, press the OK button and a blank canvas will appear. Alt+Ctrl+E add a reference line, as shown in the following figure:

Before you start designing, you should know the layout of each page, such as which page is the front cover and which page is the back cover. Then we must follow the characteristics of printing.

Overprinting is a common printing method in printing, that is, front and back printing, which requires two sets of PS plates. After printing one side, another set of PS plates is replaced to the reverse side.

As can be seen from the legend above, I divide the typesetting into two parts. The contents belonging to the same page are put together and numbered according to the reading order. When filling in the design content, just sit in the right position according to the marked numbers!

PS will use some commonly used functions during its operation. For example: mask layer, hue/saturation, smart filter.

Mask layer, you can apply a mask to the current layer. In layer mask, the area drawn in white is visible, while the area drawn in gray gradient appears in the transparent area without hierarchy, and the area drawn in black is hidden. The operation is simple: just click the Add Vector Mask button-shortcut key D, and the background color will automatically change to black and white before color-select the gradient path-and drag it to the layer that needs to use the mask effect.

Hue/saturation, if you want to use this command skillfully, you must have an understanding of the various option parameters in the command dialog box. This command is often used to adjust the beautification screen and adjust the screen to the most perfect ideal state. The shortcut key Ctrl+U will pop up a dialog box to set parameters.

Smart filters are often used to make special texts or add special effects to images. The eye icon will appear to the left of the filter effect. Using multiple filter commands produces a blending effect.
