When you travel, have you ever eaten any food that you wouldn’t normally eat but was delicious when cooked locally?

When traveling, I think you must eat well. Maybe I am a foodie. When I go to a place, I always have to check out what delicious food there is, so that it can attract me.

But some things may just be authentically made locally. Normally we wouldn’t be able to eat such authentic things.

Let me talk about a few foods that I don’t usually eat, but are very popular when I eat them locally. First of all, the first one is Changsha stinky tofu in Hunan. If you didn’t eat stinky tofu in Changsha, Hunan, it’s definitely not authentic stinky tofu. I live in Nanjing, and I feel that the stinky tofu made in Nanjing will never have the same taste as the one in Changsha. The recipe may be different.

Normally I never eat stinky tofu in Nanjing, but after going to Changsha, I can’t stop eating it because I think it tastes really good. The stinky tofu in Changsha really smells bad and tastes delicious.

The second thing I want to talk about is Guangxi’s snail noodles. If you want to ask if there is any food that can rival the smell of stinky tofu, it is probably the snail noodles from Liuzhou, Guangxi. I never eat it in Nanjing, but when I go to Guangxi, I will definitely have a serving of snail noodles. Because the local food is really authentic, I really fell in love with it in Guangxi, because I think snail noodles seem to have a kind of magic that will make me addicted.

Some people say that a food will taste different in different places, and this is true. If you want to eat authentic food, you should go to that place to eat. You really don’t have that taste elsewhere. If you guys want to eat stinky tofu and snail noodles, you must go to Changsha in Hunan and Liuzhou in Guangxi.
