Tourism landscape of Pearl Tower

There are beautiful scenery inside and outside.

Mingzhu building covers an area of 3,700 square meters and took about 3 years to build. This building is actually a mushroom shape. The clever designer made full use of the space between the six barrels to make a cylindrical space, that is, the handle of the mushroom, with an entrance on the ground. This cylindrical space is the first, second and third floors of the Pearl Building. The fourth and fifth floors are the 25.7-meter-high crown of mushrooms. This semi-circular glass dome consists of 1 176 pieces of glass. Whether with the help of summer sunshine or winter moonlight, buildings shine like pearls.

Icelanders will naturally not forget to show off their proud geothermal resources. At the entrance of the Pearl Tower, there is a transparent glass column about 1 m high, and water will slowly gush out from the bottom. There are often some exhibitions in the lobby on the first floor of Mingzhu Building. When the reporter visited here, some wooden handicrafts were on display. Because of Iceland's special natural conditions, there are not many places where trees can grow, so wood is a rarity here. The second and third floors are just stairs leading to the semi-dome.

On the fourth floor of the Pearl Building, that is, the top of the hot water bucket, there is a hexagonal observation deck, which can see the panoramic view of Reykjavik from different angles. Due to the high terrain and good visibility, you can see the inaccessible volcano on the observation deck, overlooking the modern city. It is said that in winter, it is also a good place to watch the Northern Lights.

In addition, there are nearly a thousand spherical protrusions on the dome inside the Pearl Building. Locals told reporters that this is to let indoor people feel the feeling under the stars when night comes. Looking at the outdoor aurora and the indoor "stars", I think Icelanders will not be too lonely even in the long night.
