Advantages and disadvantages of renting a villa on the sixth day of Bali trip

Today is more sultry than yesterday, and everyone is too lazy to go out and rest in the rented villa.

This is undoubtedly the first advantage of renting a villa, that is, the space is large enough. We are traveling alone, with five people, and we plan to stay in Bali for seven days. We rented a villa instead of staying in a hotel. This villa has two floors and three bedrooms, with separate bathroom and cloakroom, a huge public area and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a garden and a swimming pool outside. Everyone has enough space to leave each other alone.

Another advantage of renting a villa is convenience. Kitchen facilities, six-hole natural gas stove, two double-door refrigerators, an oven, pots and pans and tableware. We cook by ourselves half the time, eat well and save money. Every day, two people come to clean it. One is in charge of the room, and the other is in charge of the outdoor and swimming pool.

The third benefit is the economy. We live in a remote area, which is a little inconvenient to travel, but the rent is very low. Our villa operator is Russian, and we rented four villas from local people for hotel management. They have their own team to take care of everything, and the cost is generally low.

Renting a villa also has some disadvantages.

Always worry about safety first. On the first night, the empty room and the insects, birds and cats scratching at the door outside the huge floor-to-ceiling glass door were all very scary. Timid travelers should be careful. By the next night, I enjoyed the feeling of being close to nature.

The second disadvantage is cleanliness. Villa is different from hotel. Outside the door is directly the garden forest, full of bugs, ants and mosquitoes. A cup that has just been used to drink juice will be full of bugs if you forget to wipe it for half an hour. We came back last night and found countless small ants in the bathroom on the first floor. At the gate on the first floor, we found an area of one square meter, which is full of insect wings. Today, I killed ants with the cleaners, only to know that ants build nests in trees. Curly leaves are ants' homes.

This is the case in the tropics. The hot and humid climate brought the crazy growth of animals and plants. While cleaning the swimming pool, a small snake quickly climbed over my feet and jumped into the swimming pool and disappeared.
