Tourism routes and strategies in Yunnan and northwest Yunnan

Day 1: downtown Kunming

Lashihai, located at 10 km west of Lijiang, is the largest plateau lake in Lijiang and a famous gathering place for migratory birds.

Day 3: Yulong Snow Mountain-Blue Moon Valley

Yulong Snow Mountain is a sacred mountain in the hearts of Naxi people. The sector of the main peak is steep, with an altitude of 5596 meters. Yulong Snow Mountain consists of 12 snow peaks. The scenery of alpine snow area is located at an altitude of more than 4000 meters. Snow Mountain is rich in natural tourism resources, which can be divided into snow areas, glaciers, alpine meadows and virgin forest landscapes. After visiting Yulong Snow Mountain, a crescent valley at the foot of the mountain is Blue Moon Valley. On a sunny day, the lake is blue, which is an excellent place to take pictures.

Day 4: The first bay of the Yangtze River-Tiger Leaping Gorge-Little Zhongdian Flower Sea-Dukezong Ancient City

Shigu Town, more than 50 kilometers away from Lijiang City, can see the magnificent landscape of the Yangtze River, Lancang River and Nujiang River flowing side by side. This is the famous first bay of the Yangtze River, and the next scenic spot, Tiger Leaping Gorge, is the canyon with the biggest drop in the world. Tiger leaping gorge is divided into three sections: upper tiger leaping, middle tiger leaping and lower tiger leaping. Xiaozhongdian Huahai is a must-see town for Shangri-La. It has a large area of lush grassland, so you can stay and watch it for a short time.

Day 5: Baishuitai-Pudacuo National Park-Shambala Tancheng-Lijiang

Baishuitai, located in Bai Di Village, Sanba Township, southeast of Shangri-La County, looks like a terrace. Because the calcium bicarbonate in the water is irradiated by sunlight, the water evaporates to form white calcium carbonate precipitation, and then continuously covers the surface, forming a spring step, which is one of the largest spring steps in China.

Pudacuojia Park is located in the central area of Shangri-La Scenic Area, and consists of Bitahai, Shudu Lake and Xiagei Folk Ecological Culture Village. The park has beautiful scenery and fresh air, and the original ecological environment such as alpine meadow, lake wetland and forest pasture is well preserved. Shambhala is the palace where Tibetan Buddhism was introduced to Tancheng in the turn of the century, second only to Potala Palace.

Day 6: Lugu Lake

Lugu Lake is 68 kilometers around the lake and has many scenic spots. The following are must-see: Lugu Lake Panoramic Platform, Sungo Peninsula Observation Platform, Goddess Bay, Walking Plank, Caohai Wedding Bridge and Liying Temple.

Day 7: Shaxi Ancient Town-Erhai-Dali Ancient Town

Shaxi used to be an important post station on the ancient tea-horse road, and it still retains the style of the ancient tea-horse town. You can taste the local products of Shaxi, such as ginseng, Tricholoma matsutake and goat milk cake. Finally, you will come to Dali, live by Erhai Lake and enjoy many scenic spots near Erhai Lake. In the evening, I will visit the ancient city of go to dali, cats and dogs in Doby, shop and enjoy the slow life of literature and fashion.

Day 8: Cangshan Mountain

On the last day, I visited Cangshan Mountain in Dali. Its main peak is snowy and magnificent, and it is one of the four famous "romantic scenery" in Dali.

There are two ways to climb Cangshan Mountain: ropeway and hiking trail. Cableways are not connected with each other, and they can reach Qingbi Stream, Zhonghe Temple and Ximatan on Dai Yu Road halfway up the mountain.
