2. Pingtan Island can be reached by boat except Tangyu Island, and most parts of the main island can be reached by car.

Recommended scenic spots in Pingtan Island, unlike the popular punching places. Pingtan Island is also very low-key in Fujian, but there are also many unexpected surprises hidden in the dark.

1. The fluorescent sea on the beach

People who like the sea may not understand that there is a quiet fluorescent party hidden under the night. There is a little blue light on the beach, just like a meteor accidentally falling on the sea. These are blue tears. There are often midsummer nights in Pingtan Island, but it also depends on personality.

Address: Pingtan Island/Tangyu Island

Tickets: None.

Tips:

In fact, this is a blue light emitted by microorganisms living on the seabed, but its light will gradually weaken as the waves wash ashore. Most of them appear on midsummer night, and they can also be seen on the beaches of Pingtan Island and Tangyu Island. Every maintenance time is about ten minutes, long or short.

2. The painted stone house in Beigang Village

Haizi once said that he wanted to build a house facing the sea and warm in bloom in spring. Then these words became the dream and utopia of this world. If you want to realize them, you can probably come to Pingtan Island. Pieces of stone houses here are scattered on the beach along the coast of mountains and seas, and the stone houses on the island are still well preserved. Red brick, bluestone stripe, herringbone roof, saddle-shaped wind and fire wall, typical architectural atmosphere of southern Fujian. Now, many houses have been transformed into cafes and homestays. Just sitting by the window, drinking coffee and listening to the singing of the sea can kill an afternoon.

Address: Beigang Village, Pingtan Island

Tickets: None.

Opening hours: all day

3. Longfengtou Beach

Longfengtou Beach is the longest and largest beach in Pingtan, with a continuous length of 9.5 kilometers. At low tide, the flat and vast beach is natural and spectacular! In the bathing beach, you can ride SUV, horseback riding and surfboard, and there are not many people, which is very suitable for the whole family to relax. And the sanitary conditions of the bathing beach are also good ~

Address: Pingtan County

Tickets: None.

Opening hours: all day

4. Yangtze River Windmill, Australia

The Yangtze River Australia Wind Farm, located in the north of Pingtan Island, is actually a wind power station. It's about 15km from Pingtan County, and about 30-40 yuan by taxi. Along the way, you will pass the most beautiful island road around Pingtan Island, with blue waves on one side and colorful stone carvings on the other, scattered at the foot of Junshan. Unconsciously, a large windmill field appeared, with endless blue sky and endless ocean. The picture composed of blue sky, white clouds, blue sea and windmills seems to be in a fairy tale fairyland ~

Address: Shangpan Village, Pingtan County

Tickets: None.

Opening hours: all day

Tips:

Local drivers don't like to use taxi software or charge by meter. Most of them are negotiated at the same price. Wind farms in Australia along the Yangtze River are relatively remote, so it is best to negotiate with drivers for round-trip transportation.

5. Tannan Bay

The coastline of Tannan Bay is not very long, but its sand is very soft, which is different from the crowded Longfengtou Beach. Tannan Bay is relatively local and energetic, which is the heart of many backpackers. On summer nights, it's more like a never-ending performance, with bonfire barbecue, bathing in the sea breeze and drinking small wine. The shops on the beach often play music, which makes people's thoughts wander. During the fishing season, you can also see fishermen pulling nets on the beach.

Because the beach here in Tannan Bay is relatively primitive, some hardware conditions here will be poor, and the accommodation conditions will be relatively general. Most of them belong to ordinary fishermen's music, which only meets the basic sleeping needs and is not very clean. If you mind, I suggest living in Pingtan County. But the villagers here are very enthusiastic ~

Address: Cape of Pingtan Bay

Admission: local fee 10- beach sanitation fee around 20 yuan.

Opening hours: open all day.

6. Double sail stone

Double sail stone is also called semi-sail and stone brand ocean. This is a pair of the largest granite pillars in China, because they are shaped like two huge sails. When the tide ebbs, the rocks at the bottom are exposed, supporting the two pillars like a huge disk. Especially like a big sailing ship, braving the wind and waves! Haha, but you must watch the tide. If the tide rises high, there will be no such visual effect ~

Address: Kan 'ao Village, Pingtan

Tickets: Tickets to 20 yuan and round-trip tickets to 25 yuan.

Opening hours: open all day.

7. Tangyu Island

Tangyu is located in the south of Pingtan Island, and the laver produced here has long been famous at home and abroad as an old tribute. At the southernmost tip of the island, there is a masterpiece of heaven and earth-Haitan God! ! ! Crescent-shaped bay, white beach, a huge gray-white naked stone statue in the distance. Usually everyone calls him "naked man", hahahaha.

Actually, it's a local tyrant ~ It's said that touching it can make people fat ~

There is another magical place. Haitan God is still hermaphrodite. Take a boat around this huge stone man at sea, and you will find that there is a male god on one side and a goddess on the other. Look at the second picture below, the goddess ~

"God" is a masterpiece left by sea breeze and seawater erosion for thousands of years. It is four times larger than Leshan Giant Buddha. It is the largest spherical weathering shape of natural granite in the world, and it is also called Pingtan "double unique" with Shipaiyang. hahaha

Now I seem to understand a little. Why does the Pingtan proverb say that there is a Pingtan Island in Fuzhou, with long stones, no grass, no grass ~

Address: Nanhai Township, the southernmost tip of Pingtan Island

Admission: scenic health maintenance fee: individual 25 yuan, team 10 yuan.

By boat: get on and off at Fenweikou Wharf and get to Tangyu Island only three times a day (9: 10, 10: 30, 14: 00 respectively). In addition, there are small traffic such as motorcycles on the island, so you can take it if necessary. 10 yuan is around/person.

There are still many geographical options for accommodation in Pingtan Island, and there are various star-rated accommodations to meet different accommodation needs. Two hotels on Pingtan Island-Pingtan Yucheng Seaview International Hotel and Shichang B&B are mainly recommended here.

Pingtan Yucheng Seaview International Hotel is one of the best hotels in the area, just across the road from Longfengtou Beach. You can even watch the sunrise directly in the sea view room. The first picture below is a panoramic view of the hotel taken from the beach square. Hotel standard rooms are generally around 890 yuan and can be booked on hornet's nest. The room area is large enough, and the high floor has a wide view.

Stone can sing. B&B is in the Minnan Stone Formation in Beigang Village. If you want to experience more local life, you can choose to live here and feel the folk customs here at close range.

A small house facing the sea, with literary decoration, is also a good choice for vacation ~

In addition to the accommodation in these two areas, the accommodation in Tannan Bay and Tangyu Island is relatively simple, but it is also a more authentic fisherman experience. Live in the home of a local fellow villager, or camp on the beach, listen to the singing of the sea, fall asleep quietly, meet the long-lost starry sky and quiet night, and get up in the morning and open the tent is a wonderful sunrise ~

About the cuisine of Pingtan Island, shrimp and crabs are definitely indispensable when you come to the seaside! The wild three-eyed crab is very fresh, and the crab meat is tender and sweet. Open the shells of crabs, and each crab is full of crab yellow. The fresher the raw materials, the less need for fancy decoration. Simply steam it, and it's full of delicious feeling without seasoning! Steamed in the pot, and after a few minutes, the tempting crab fragrance floated out. Just smelling the fragrance makes people salivate, and then take a bite of the full white crab meat. Wow! It's delicious enough to cry ~

Fish ball soup is also an economical and delicious local dish. Fish balls made of different kinds of fish, with conch shrimp and a bowl of seafood-flavored fish ball soup, can be easily served online. Take a spoonful and put it in your mouth.

In addition, there are other seafood delicacies, such as grouper, oyster, eel, clove fish, clam, red sturgeon, Pipi shrimp, sea and so on. The best time to eat seafood is from September to 10 every year.
