How to get to Ali, Tibet?

It is very easy to come to Ali. There are currently two routes to choose from. The first is to enter from Lhasa. It is recommended to find someone to carpool near the Lhasa office where Ali lives. It is safe, convenient and reliable. The journey takes less than 2 days and costs about 1,000 (not including food and accommodation on the road, the fare is about 900); the second is to enter from Yecheng, Xinjiang , usually a bus, the fare is about 400, and it also takes two days. If you are visiting Ngari for the first time or entering Tibet for the first time, it is recommended to enter from the direction of Lhasa, because the altitude difference when entering Xinjiang is too large and the sudden plateau will make you uncomfortable. If the plan to enter Ali can be postponed, there is another route: Ali Airport will be opened to flights in July next year, which can be considered. Another note: The road from Ali to Lhasa is currently under construction and the road condition is poor. Self-driving is not recommended.
