If I leave the group during the tour, do I have to pay the tour fee?
Traveling with a group, especially outbound travel, is not allowed to leave the group in principle, because the travel agency buys you group insurance, and the travel agency and tour guide have the obligation and responsibility to bring everyone back safely. Quitting the group also means that you give up these rights.
If you have to leave the group for some reason, there are two situations:
1. Domestic tour groups: You need to negotiate with the tour guide, sign the waiver of leaving the group, and pay the fare after leaving the group. All the problems after leaving the tour group have nothing to do with the travel agency. This exemption is valid for domestic tour groups.
2. outbound tour groups are not allowed to leave the group in any form without special reasons, whether you pay the tour fee or not.
