Differences between Business English and Tourism English

The difference between tourism and business is obvious. They are used for different purposes. Tourist destinations are definitely more inclined to introduce scenic spots and the like. Business is certainly more commercialized, but both attach importance to communication. Having a teacher's qualification certificate can be a teacher, just like having a driver's license can drive a car. Business English is to meet the language requirements of workplace life, and its content involves all aspects of business activities. Tourism English mainly studies the basic theoretical knowledge of English and tourism, grasps the skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation, is familiar with China's tourism development principles, policies and regulations, understands the laws of tourism economy and marketing strategies, is familiar with tour guide business, can engage in tourism work with English as a tool, and has strong English communication skills. For example, explain the customs, historical and cultural background, human geography and so on of a tourist attraction in English.
