What do you need to prepare for a trip to "Ma bu" or horse stance just look?
Before you go out, you must:
Google Translation app (downloading offline language pack in advance), Google Maps (accurate positioning), taxi grabbing software (whoever uses it knows) and diving mask are recommended as one (we bought Dikailong, whoever uses it knows). It is best to try it on when you buy it in a physical store!
Telephone cards are sold at Ma Yun's house, sandals (complete set), consignment and visa can also be settled in Ma Yunjia.
The reserved Mabu Island Resort will arrange to pick up the car, and it takes about 60-70 minutes to drive to Semporna.
Semporna is a port town. The only 4-star hotel is Haifeng Hotel (not booked this time). We stayed at the Pacific Hotel (a star-rated hotel except Haifeng). The room is a little small, but the environment is good and it is close to the port. Of course, there are many homestays to choose from online, but the environment and other conditions still depend on personal preferences.
Mabu Island is located in Semporna, Malaysia. Semporna is actually a tourist destination, because it is a coastal city, where there are many kinds of seafood, many things have never been seen before, and the price is incredible. In China, I want a pound of tiger spots in 300 yuan, and in the local area, I only want 20 yuan; Crab, 1 1 yuan a catty; Shrimp, 20 yuan a catty.
Snorkeling is a special tourism project in Mabu Island. Different from deep diving, snorkeling means that people wear underwater equipment and float on the water to observe the underwater beauty below a few meters. Therefore, the sea surface with snorkeling conditions must be very clear, and you can see the underwater environment several meters below at a glance. Mabu Island is such a place.
Go to the seaside, there are local vegetable markets and fruits.
There are fishermen selling seafood caught that day everywhere in the street, and they can take it to restaurants for processing.
There is an online celebrity shop in town called Fat Mom. I don't know why it was closed for a few days when we went. We chose a shop called Tianwang Seafood Restaurant, and the business was good. We chatted with other passengers at the table. This is the most recommended shop by local people, which is much more delicious than fat mom (only representing the recommender's point of view). They eat all the dishes before they go to the next table, so there will be no cauldron dishes, and it will be a bit difficult to reach the peak of dining.
Recommended dishes: mango ice (this is not particularly recommended, but many people order it, mango acid, milk is not strong enough) cream hibiscus shrimp (not the same as our understanding of cream, more like shredded eggs, must order! ! ), egg yolk crab (my god, it's the first time I've eaten so much spicy crab yolk, and I'm finally going to throw up. Be sure to order! ! ), and what tofu (is their specialty, very tender! ), we spent RM 20 to buy 5.6 sea urchins from fishermen (totally different from those in China), steamed an egg (with sea urchin meat) and fried a meal.
The second day early in the morning from the resort to the "ma bu" or horse stance just look. It is really beautiful and can't be described in words. We chose the best resort on Mabu Island, the water house in Kapalai (that is, the house is built on the sea and has a sand house, and the house is built on the beach, and the price is cheaper than the water house. The water room is divided into houses, and the economy is limited. The cheapest water house we live in is charged by the head. Oh, I booked it with a travel agency in Taobao, so please trust me privately. There is a snorkeling spot next to the water house. You can see Nemo when you go down. Free buffet for three meals a day (barbecue night every Wednesday and Saturday). Besides normal meals, coffee, bread, hot and cold water are always available. There are three boats every day. You can go snorkeling in designated places and watch turtles.
If you stay for more than 4 nights, it is recommended to book Sipadan. Even if you can't dive deep without a license, you must go snorkeling. One of the top ten diving spots in the world, you can see the fish tank called God, Jack Storm (commonly known as fish wall and fish whirlwind), sharks, turtles, all kinds of fish and corals (snorkeling three times for 30 minutes each time, and lunch will be arranged). You can also contact the scheduled underwater photographer for follow-up shooting (the specific price can be discussed).
The resort also has a variety of island-jumping tours, each boat 10 people, which is more cost-effective. We were lucky to meet a man who chartered a boat to Pearl Island and visited Bayao Village (the trip of the resort was to climb the mountain of Pearl Island, but we were not allowed to climb it because of the rain. Each person pays RM 65,438+00 to visit a Bayao village, and then go deep diving or snorkeling. Because I was in chartered flight personally, I changed my itinerary and went to see two Ba Yao villages. This really can't be done without local leaders. This is only a token fee for our ship. Every island is beautiful and worth a visit. Remember not to dive at night. There are several stairs near the water house, where you can get into the water. If you are not familiar with it, you'd better not go down and play around. There will be electric eels and stinging fish.
Because the itinerary was booked in a hurry, I booked a hotel for one day without booking a resort room on the last day. Mabu Diving Paradise Inn next to Shawu is owned by a Chinese American, a very friendly uncle and an experienced diving instructor (he used to be a diving instructor in the resort, so his inn is shaped like a miniature Kapalai, which is very interesting). Talk to us about all kinds of local interesting things and experiences, and also exchange diving experience. The swing by the sea belongs to his family. Every day, fishermen from Ba Yao come to him to sell several seafood issues. Uncle and proprietress will teach us to bargain and then process it much cheaper than the resort, but the cooking method is simpler. In addition, B&B's fresh water is bought and shipped back from Xianben every day, and its resources are limited. Both fresh water and electricity are supplied in a limited time, so it is not recommended for babies who are not used to it. But you can chat with your boss, buy seafood processing and swing. Anyway, it's good.
The beach next to the sand house is very interesting. In the afternoon, local children will go fishing. Although they don't know the language, they will catch fish for us to play with and sing songs for us. It was here that they met an opera expert. There is also a beautiful sunset, and someone will arrange a candlelight dinner and propose marriage at the seaside, which is particularly romantic.
After playing on the island for six days, we returned to Kuala Lumpur. At first, we wanted to go to Malacca. The children were too tired to play, so we spent two days in Kuala Lumpur. Stay at Keo Hotel next to Chinatown (the room is a little small, so you must pay attention to the size of the room when booking online, and there is a parent-child room). From the airport, take the airport bus (which seems to run 24 hours a day) Line 2 to the central square station, and the next stop (grab is very convenient and cheap to take a taxi).
Chinatown is full of small commodities made in Yiwu, China. Just browsing. There are delicious glutinous rice paste sold by the old woman's cart and delicious Luohan fruit tea. Then there is a well-rated online celebrity shop next to it. The recommended food is really great, and the price is not expensive, right in the art center. Then many people recommended bak Kut teh, and we also found the one ranked higher on the Internet in Chinatown. To tell the truth, it's not as delicious as braised pork ribs. Ha ha ha ha, maybe I personally don't like the taste, so I don't recommend trying it if I like heavy taste. There is a century-old shopping mall near the Twin Towers, with luxury brands and popular prices. There is also food on the first floor, which is very convenient. Babies who like shopping can go shopping.
