China Five-A Scenic Spot Ranking Daquan

Five A scenic spots in China are ranked as Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, Pingyao Ancient City, Summer Palace, Palace Museum and Leshan Giant Buddha.

1. Changbai Mountain Scenic Area

Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, located in the southeast of Chibei District, Erdaobaihe Town, Antu County, Jilin Province, is adjacent to North Korea in the southeast, located on the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, 34 kilometers away from Changbai Mountain and 65 kilometers away from the border between China and North Korea in binocular peak, with an area of 52.42 square kilometers. Now it is a national AAAAA-level tourist scenic spot.

2. Pingyao Ancient City

Pingyao Ancient City, located in Pingyao County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, was founded in Zhou Xuanwang period, and was expanded in Hongwu for three years, with a history of more than 2,8 years. It still retains the basic features of the county seat in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is the most complete existing ancient city in Han nationality areas of China.

3. Summer Palace

The Summer Palace, formerly known as Qingyi Garden, is located in the western suburbs of Beijing, 15 kilometers away from the city. The whole park covers an area of 3.9 square kilometers, accounting for about three quarters of the water surface, and is adjacent to Yuanmingyuan.

4. The Palace Museum

The Palace Museum in Beijing is a comprehensive museum, which was established on October 1th, 1925. It is a large-scale comprehensive museum of ancient art based on the Ming and Qing palaces and their collections. It is also the largest museum of ancient culture and art in China.

5. Leshan Giant Buddha

Leshan Giant Buddha, also known as Lingyun Giant Buddha, is located on the side of Lingyun Temple on the east bank of Nanmin River in Leshan, Sichuan Province, near the confluence of Dadu River, Qingyi River and Minjiang River. The giant Buddha is a statue of Maitreya, with a height of 71 meters. It is the largest cliff stone statue in China.
