Why are there frequent accidents in Thailand tourism?

On June 15, 30 tourists died in Thailand, and the death cases were shocking. Thailand has always been a popular tourist destination for China people, but do you know how many accidents have happened in Thailand?

It is reported that since June 65438+ 10 this year, 30 China tourists have died unexpectedly in Thailand, which is really shocking. Why are there frequent accidents in Thailand tourism?

Since the beginning of 20 17, the number of tourists from China to Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui in southern Thailand has increased rapidly, and tourists have been injured and drowned frequently. From/kloc-0 to May, 30 tourists were killed in China.

From June 12 to June 13, nine tourists in China were forced to go swimming in the sea, ignoring the red flag warning and safety reminder, causing 18-year-old 1 tourists to drown, and four tourists were taken to the hospital for rescue.

To this end, the Consulate General in Songkhla issued a reminder:

1. Never take part in snorkeling without systematic professional training. The mortality rate of snorkeling events is dozens of times that of swimming events. Since the beginning of the year, tourists from China have been snorkeling and drowning in Phuket and Krabi every month. In recent years, every summer, students admitted to famous schools drown, which is extremely sad and has a profound lesson.

2. The sea conditions in Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui are complex and changeable. Swimming in these waters is a dangerous sport, and all wading events must always wear life jackets. When the red warning flag is planted on the beach, swimming in the sea is strictly prohibited.

Third, when traveling in a foreign country, safety is the most important. According to the announcement of the meteorological department of Thailand, the Andaman sea areas such as Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi and Ribe Island have officially entered the rainy season since May 16. The weather is changeable, the sea breeze is strong and the waves are rough. The whole rainy season is not suitable for swimming in the sea.

In addition, the Consulate General also reminds China tourists to abide by local laws and regulations, pay attention to guard against poisonous jellyfish, and enhance traffic safety awareness. In case of sudden emergency, you can call the police in time, contact the local tourist assistance center, or call the insurance number for help.

Strengthening the improvement of one's own quality, observing public order and the guidance of local tour guides can actually avoid these dangers!

Think about whether the wading project on the tourist route is dangerous. Are security measures in place? Is the nature of the danger clear? Are there enough managers? Are emergency measures perfect? ..... These issues also need careful consideration. Maybe we China people should go to Thailand less, and let you have a good internal reorganization first.
