How long does it take to re-issue a Canadian visa if it is refused?

Theoretically, there is no limit on how long it takes to apply for a Canadian visa again after it is refused. You can apply for it again as soon as the next day. However, if you apply in this way, you are more likely to be rejected again. In the case where the visa materials have not changed, we recommend that applicants do not re-apply immediately after being refused a visa. You can choose another destination first to make the second application time longer. Generally, the embassy’s visa rejection record will be cleared in 1-2 years. And as time goes by, it can also prove that your personal financial resources and abilities have increased, and it will be easier to submit the application again.

How to apply for a visa and what are the procedures

(1) Submit a valid passport.

(2) Submit various documents related to the application, such as certificates about your birth, marital status, education, work experience, etc.

(3) Fill out and submit the visa application form. Different visas have different forms. Most of them need to be filled in in foreign languages ??and provide personal photos.

(4) Go to the country’s embassy or consulate to meet with officials. Some countries stipulate that all immigration applicants must be interviewed before making a decision; other countries stipulate that applicants for non-immigrant visas must also be interviewed.

(5) The embassy or consulate will submit the completed visa application forms and necessary supporting materials to the domestic competent department for review and approval. The embassies and consulates of a few countries have the right to issue visas directly, but they still have to report it to the country for filing.

(6) After going to the country’s competent authorities for necessary review, notify the embassy or consulate in that country of the review and approval opinions. If agreed, a visa will be issued. If rejected, the applicant will also be notified. (For visa refusal, the embassy and consulate will not refund the visa fee)

(7) Pay the visa fee. Generally speaking, you have to pay the fee first when submitting your visa application. There are also some countries that only charge the fee when the visa application is successful. Generally speaking, immigrant visa fees are slightly higher and non-immigrant visa fees are slightly lower. There are also some countries and regions where visas are free.

There are generally three ways for Chinese citizens to apply for foreign visas:

(1) Apply directly to the foreign embassy or consulate in China;

(2) Entrust the visa office of China Travel Service to apply (generally only for tourist visas);

(3) Foreign relatives and friends apply directly to the country’s immigration bureau for a visa.
