The Wan Shan Lake Eco-tourism Zone in Xin 'an County is located in the north, 1 kilometers away from Sanmenxia City, 3 kilometers away from Luoyang City and 15 kilometers away from Zhengzhou City, the provincial capital. The surrounding regional infrastructure conditions are good, and the traffic conditions such as roads, railways and aviation are convenient. In the Central Plains tourism network, the location conditions are good.

the scope includes 168 square kilometers of water in Xin' an county of Xiaolangdi reservoir area of the Yellow River and parts of six townships, namely Yuli, Shijing, Xiwo, Cangtou, Beiye and Caocun, on the south bank of the reservoir area.
