Do you need a household registration book to submit a visa application in the UK?

Need. The following is a list of materials required to apply for various visas in the UK.

1. China citizens need to obtain a visa in advance to travel to the UK. You can travel to the UK as an independent traveler or as a member of an ADS tour group. ADS tours can stay in Britain for 30 days.

List of British tourist visa application materials:

This includes a copy of the biometric page of your passport (that is, the page containing your photo). If you don't provide a copy of each document, we may not return the original to you.

Your completed and signed visa application form.

Print the confirmation email of successful online payment of visa fee. (except ADS team application)

Current valid travel document or passport. Your passport must have at least one blank passport page on both sides so that we can insert your visa. If your previous passport contains recent travel records, please also submit them, which will be beneficial to your visa application.

Passport photo-sized color photos. Photos must meet the requirements of our photo guide.

Your household registration book and its translation. (except ADS team application)

Proof of your current work or study (in English) or copy of bank passbook or bank statement (English translation is not required).

2. China citizens need to get a visa in advance to engage in business activities in the UK.

List of application materials for business visit visa:

For each document you provide, you must include the original document and a copy. This includes a copy of the biometric page of your passport (that is, the page containing your photo). If you don't provide a copy of each document, we may not return the original to you.

Your completed and signed visa application form.

Print the confirmation email of successful online payment of visa fee.

Current valid travel document or passport. Your passport must contain at least one passport page with blank front and back for inserting your visa.

Passport photo-sized color photos. Photos must meet the requirements of our photo guide.

Your household registration book and its translation.

If you are not a citizen of the country where you submitted your application, you need to provide your permission documents in this country.

An old passport showing your previous travel records.

Proof of your marital status. Such documents may include marriage certificate, civil same-sex partnership certificate, divorce certificate or death certificate.

Proof of your current work or study or business license.

Documents that prove that you have enough funds to pay for your travel expenses, such as bank statements or payslips for the past six months.

You may also want to provide:

An invitation letter from a business organization inviting you to visit the UK.

Proof of your business relationship with the British company you visited.

If the document you send is not in English or Welsh, you must attach a complete translation, which can be independently verified.

Each translated document must include:

The translator confirms that this is an accurate translation of the original document;

Date of translation;

The full name and signature of the translator;

Contact information of the translator.

3. China citizens need to get a visa in advance to study in the UK. From 20 15 13 10, the priority visa service in China will be extended to Tier 4 applicants (students). Applicants who use this optional service will be given priority, and the goal is to return the application decision within 5 working days.

If you are not a citizen of the country where you submitted your application, you need to provide your permission documents in this country.

If you apply to stay in the UK for more than 6 months, you must also submit a tuberculosis test certificate.
