Bashang grassland is mainly composed of the first grassland scenic spot in northern Beijing and the grassland tianlu, which is an important part of Inner Mongolia Plateau. Among them, Bashang Grassland in Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, Hebei Province, which is just north of Beijing, is the closest natural grassland to Beijing.

1. Lightning Lake

Legend has it that the lightning lake irrigated by tears is the gentlest scenery in Fengning. The sky, grassland, lakes and rivers meet here and embrace each other, forming a green and blue landscape painting. The climate here is warm, cool and humid. Even in hot and dry July, the average temperature is only 18 degrees, which is a holy place to escape the heat and enjoy the cool.

At the northern end of the vast Bashang grassland, there is an amazing virgin birch forest. The scenery here makes people feel like they are in ancient times: the wide racetrack, the endless birch trees towering into the sky, the mottled shadows sprinkled on the grassland illuminated by the sunset, and the birch forest on the Bashang grassland has always been the favorite place for photographers.

4. Lover Valley

5. First grassland

Bashang Grassland in Fengning is located in the northwest of Fengning County, Hebei Province, with datan town as the center, close to S244 Provincial Highway and close to Beijing. Here, the water is clear, the grass is shoulder-length, cattle and sheep flock together, and the ecological environment is excellent. In addition, because the development time is earlier, all kinds of supporting facilities are relatively complete.

Every year in July and August, when Beijing is still a hot sauna day, the grassland temperature is only about 18-20 degrees. The scenery is beautiful at this time, which is very suitable for traveling here. There are not only charming grassland scenery of "the sky is grey, the wild is boundless, the wind blows grass and the cattle and sheep are low", but also colorful entertainment activities, such as riding horses, driving cross-country motorcycles, attending bonfire parties, enjoying folk songs and dances and equestrian performances, and so on. But if winter comes, some amusement facilities may be closed, and the scenery is not as beautiful as summer and autumn.
