About Xingkai Lake

Xingkai Lake is located on the Sino-Russian border 40 kilometers southeast of Mishan City. It was originally an inner lake in China. 1860 After the signing of the Beijing Treaty, it became a boundary lake between China and Russia. At present, China accounts for one-third of the waters, and the rest are in Russia. Xingkai Lake is a large freshwater lake in the northeast of China, which was formed by the sinking of water after the eruption of ancient volcano. The whole lake is slightly oval, with nine rivers flowing in, and the lake overflows from the northeast and flows into the Wusuli River. There is Xiaoxingkai Lake in the north of the lake, which is found all over China. There is a sandbar with a width of about 1 km between the two lakes, which is integrated when the water rises. Xingkai Lake Scenic Area includes Dangbi Town, Lianhua, Liu Xinkai, spillway gate, Longwang Temple, Honey Mountain and Golden Beach.

Dangbi Town Scenic Area: Located on the west bank of Xingkai Lake, it is a national first-class land port. Honey Mountain Scenic Area: 574 meters above sea level, standing abruptly above the mountains, with rugged peaks, including rolling stone slopes, ghost axe stones, camel stones, immortal beds and the first sight of the sky. Tilia amurensis and other coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests form a dense natural forest ecological landscape.

Liu Xinkai Scenic Area: Located on the lake mountain between Xingkai Lake and Xingkai Lake, it is the material and cultural remains of Manchu ancestors-ancient Su Shen ancestors more than 6 100 years ago, and a large number of pottery, bone implements and stone tools have been unearthed, reflecting the fishing and hunting civilization in the north of Neolithic Age.

Public transportation: you can fly to Jixi Xingkai Lake Airport and take the train to Mishan City. There are tourist buses to Jixi and Mishan in summer.

Self-driving: Take Ji Hu Expressway for about 70km, and then take Midang Highway to Xingkai Lake. The whole journey is about 140km, not exceeding 2 hours.
