What is the legend of Longyan?

There is a cave on the south side of Dongshi Mountain in Longyan, which is said to be deep and can go far away. The little dragon king who came down from the north lived here. There is a temple on one side of the mountain, where monks live. There is an open cave like a hall on the east side of the stone, and there are several grooves on the top of the cave that seem to have been hit by the head. The teacher asked us if we knew why.

There used to be many small holes in the top of the cave, which would leak salt and rice for monks to eat. It is said that it was released by Wang Xiaolong. Once, a young monk thought its hole was too small and leaked slowly and rarely, so he dug it up with an iron drill. It was a bad dig this time, and it hasn't leaked since. The monks in the temple complained about him, and he regretted it himself, so he hit these holes with his head and knocked out these grooves.

The Legend of tianmashan

How did tianmashan get his name? Looking at tianmashan from the north of the mountain, you will see a horse's head from west to east, and its neck extends from east to the foot of the mountain, just like a horse eating grass!

There is a small stone temple in tianmashan, which is a folk god named "Chen Shengzai". It is said that Chen Shengzai is a cattle herder. He carried the slate from the foot of the mountain with an ox. There was no lime when it was built, so he used his nose to paste it. There is no lime in the whole temple.

Look at the stone toad beside him. When Shengzai Chen was herding cattle, he saw a snake wanting to eat toad, so he drove the snake away with a bullwhip and saved toad. Toad was grateful to Chen Shengzai for saving his life, and he was inseparable from Chen Shengzai ever since.

This "Chen Shengzai" is very clever. Dong Xiao is a poor place with poor land and poor people. It's hard to run more than 20 miles to the county seat to buy big fat and pig excrement. A local farmer went to ask Chen Shengzai for help. Chen Shengzai said yes, I'll give you a bag of things, and you can put them in the ground when you go home. The farmer will take this bag back. Walking to Jingyang Village in Caoxi, the farmer wondered what this bag was. He couldn't help but open it. It was a bag of cow dung. The farmer thought that his cow would shit, so he threw it into the field, which would make the land on the other side of the ocean fertile, while Dong Xiao was still barren.

The legend of Dongbaoshan

There is a mountain spring in the middle of Dongbaoshan, and the water is as clear as a mirror. It is said that the little dragon king who lives in Longyandong wandered between Longyandong and Dongbaoshan. This is also where the little dragon king hides his treasure. One of them can call the shots, so it's called Dongbaoshan.

It is said that one year Dong Xiao was short of water and too dry to sow. The farmers were so anxious that they organized everyone to wear white clothes and white headscarves, and walked from Dong Xiao to Dongbaoshan in three steps to beg for rain from Wang Xiaolong. At this time, the sun is shining and the rain-seeking team is vast. If it starts to rain, the bystanders must not open an umbrella, or the rain-seekers will beat you up.
